Chapter 4

Blake's P.O.V:

"Hey mate! You ok?" I ask Reece.

No response.

"Reece. Are you ok?"

"What?" He asked.

It's like he's not even listening!

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing." He shakes his head and looks down at his feet.

"Ok." I just answer.

"Is it about Riley?" George whispers so she doesn't hear.

"Maybe. I don't know. This is all so confusing right now!" He thrusts the door opens and walks a bit faster.

"Damn! What's wrong with him?" Julia reacts. Causing me to laugh.

"He's just a bit upset that he's leaving his family soon," George tells them.

"That makes sense!" Cassidy answers.

"Well, no shit," Riley mumbles.

"Language!" Her uncle tells her.

"Sorry." She mumbles again.

"What's wrong with you?" I ask her nicely.

"Nothing..I'm fine.."

"Liar! Come on!" Julia blurts out, taking her by her arm and dragging her ahead. I follow, considering she hit my arm while she was walking. Leaving George alone with Cass.

I gotta repay him for this! This is the 2nd time I did this!

Reece's P.O.V:

As I'm waiting for the others to come outside, I see Julia, Riley, and Blake talking.

I don't wanna be nosy so I just look at them
once in a while and take off my graduation hat, messing around with it.

How am I going to build up the courage to talk to her? Maybe just say 'Hey' Reece?! What are you an idiot?! Argh! She's just so pretty!.And way out of my league. We're just friends. .That's it! Just take it slow! Don't even think about her like that! Think of her as just a friend! Maybe that'll be easier..

Riley's P.O.V:

"Ow! What is it?" I whines as Jules brings me near the door.

"What's wrong? You were fine a few minutes ago!"

"Yeah talk about Bi-Polar!" He jokes.

"Not the time B-Puppy!"

"B-Puppy?" I asked puzzled.

"It's just a nickname similar to the boys he told me earlier."

"Okay.." I say, feeling a bit awkward.

"Now, seriously. What's going on?"

I'm not telling her what REALLY is going on! Especially when Blake is with her ALL the damn time!

"It's just my mother. That's all.."

"What about her?"
