Pari's POV:
"I told you you're not leaving me."
My mom turned her head to see Hongbin. I was shaking from both fear and anger. Hongbin went back to normal when my mom turned around. I held a strong glare.
"Who's this, Pari?" My mom asked innocently.
"No-"
"Her boyfriend, Hongbin." He interrupted. He walked up to my mom and she gave him a brief hug. I watched in disbelief.
"He's not my- ah." A painful electric shock cut off my words. It was the necklace that was the source of it. I looked up at Hongbin who smirked at me.
"Oh you are? My daughter really knows how to pick them, you're such a handsome boy." My mom gushed as she rubbed his arm. Hongbin smiled.
"So what brings you here?" She asked.
"Oh nothing, just wanted to stop by and give Pari her homework. She forgot it in class." He winked at me.
"Well go ahead. Do you want to stay for dinner?"
"No, I have homework as well." He answered.
My mom went and kissed my cheek before going in the kitchen. Hongbin gestured for me to go upstairs so I did. I closed the door when we got in. Hongbin casually laid on my bed. I stood at the foot of the bed and glared at him.
"What part of 'it's over' do you not understand?" I snarled.
"I thought you understood clearly when I said, 'you're not leaving me'." He countered. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Hongbin, you're a good guy....well I thought you were. But you lied to me." I said. He stood up in front of me and cupped my face in his hands.
"When have I lied to you, Pari?"
"When you told me you had nothing to do with Hoseok. You were the one of the demons that kidnapped and tortured him. You were the one that stole his love. You were the one that made him get in that car accident. And you are the reason he's in the fucking hospital!"
I pushed Hongbin with so much force that he fell back on the bed. "You're a killer and a monster," I laughed bitterly, "but what can I expect from a demon?"
I reached behind my neck and attempted to take off the necklace, but it gave me an electric shock. I retracted my hands. Hongbin smirked.
"Why can't I take it off?"
He stood up again and played with my curls. "Because sweetheart, I gave it to you."
"I'm not following." My brows furrowed with confusion.
"You see Pari, I can't let the one thing I've ever cared about leave me. I cursed it, you can't run from me because I will always find you."
My arms dropped to my sides. I've been wearing a cursed necklace for months without even knowing. Who knows, maybe he put some crazy demonic mark on me without knowing as well. Laughter interrupted my thoughts.
"You're thoughts are amusing like always." Hongbin said. "No, I didn't put any mark on you....yet."
My heart stopped briefly. He had intentions of marking me. I guess I don't know anything about him. I am now seeing his true colors. I have to be brave. I probably look like an innocent rabbit to him and he's the wolf.
"You should be grateful though. My initial plan was to seduce you and kill you. Instead, you have me under your spell."
"Please get out." I pleaded in a whisper voice.
