"Donner?" I repeat with a smile. "Donner" Seven pronounced with a rich thick accent. "That's my last name, don't wear it out. Means 'give' in French," Seven replied while walking down the sidewalk alongside me. Ironic. "I would like to apologize" Seven began, pausing in his footsteps, meaning for me to do the same. Apologize for what he said? "Not necessary" I raised my hands, shaking my head. I would rather avoid all social aspects of the conversation altogether. Seven pushed them down and grabbed the side of my shoulders, my body tighten. "I can get carried away with my thoughts, I'm sorry" he smiled, I shook his hands off and nodded, "It's ok, really" my laugh quivered. We continued down the street until the first left appeared. The weather was soft and warm, perfect for walking home from school. The Autumn leaves littered the ground full of complementary colors and an uplifting aura. For New York, the weather was unusual, lacking the usual cold degree of Fahrenheit. From my peripherals, Sevens eyes were fixated onto me. "This place is beautiful" I inhale the breeze that passed by, spewing my hair from place to place. "Ravishing," Seven agreed, I sneered at his remark. "You aren't even looking around"
"Am too"
"No, you aren't"
"You got me; I was looking at something far more intricate of beauty" Seven smirked and wrapped his hands around his back. I stayed silent, trying not to chuckle or show how uncomfortable I was. "Do you not like flirting?" He asked, my legs became heavy. "Oh look! Home!" I clap both my hands then point to the tan-white house two residences down. "Right" Seven muttered with a heavy sigh, my heart dropped. "I'm not very experienced with that emotional stuff, that's all" I intertwined my arm with his, Seven was now back to smiling. "Shall we continue?"

"So, your parents let you take rumored to be psychotic murderers in your bedroom often?" Seven teased. If my mom knew I even had a guy in my bedroom let alone a rumored killer, she would be the one killing me.
"She wouldn't mind"
"Not they?"
"Cancer's a bitch"
"Quin" Seven began, probably to apologize but I would have rather dropped the conversation at that then to ramble on about my father. "Not you're fault he was an alcoholic bastard" I poke fun at Seven although he didn't find it humorous. His eyes were squinted again, whenever he's confused, I've concluded. Sevens sleeves hugged tightly against his arms displaying thick muscles, not something you would see for his size. The more I stared at him the more I felt myself wanting him. Our bodies were closer now and I wasn't as tense. We stood just in front of the now closed door, for caution, of course. "Any particular reason you invited me into you house?" Seven closed most if any space between us, his perfect almond shaped eyes staring into my own. "Homework" I replied faster than intended, he smiled with his bright teeth. Seven lifted his hand colliding with my chin, lifting it upwards. Minutes could have gone by until finally Seven inhaled through his nose, jaw clenched. "Homework" he repeated, letting go of my chin and backing up.
The time I had to comprehend what had just happened was scarce; my dog, Saber, scratched and barked at the door causing me to jump. My thoughts were scattered as I went to open up the door to let Saber in. "Well I'll be damned, if that's not the most adorable thing!" Seven got down to his knee's and received Sabers love in return for affection. I sat on my bed watching Seven and Saber wrestle and play tug-a-war with the squeaky toys. Seven hopped up brushed off the hair from the dog and sat next to me on the bed. "Homework".

The amount of hours we had sat there, on my bed finishing our remaining homework, went by faster than I'd hoped for. The sky was dark now, 7:00 at night. I used a lamp for the artificial lighting that made the room a tint of yellow. I could feel my eyes now, droopy and heavy with exhaustion. Seven's smile filled the silent room with contentment from our progress, although his brows furrowed, almost as if his face naturally scowled; Something was wrong, his smile was a distraction, he was hiding something. I took one careless sigh and pushed myself off my bed and walked to the door. Seven lifted his head, acknowledging my actions and let off a short "hm?" I smiled at his reaction while rubbing my weary eyes. "I suggest you leave now if you don't want my mom to kill you". This comment amused him enough to make him snicker.
"I thought you said it was fine? Lying are we, miss Quinn?" Seven asked, twisting his body so that he was lying on his back.
"No.. I just"
"Or are you trying to rid of me because I make you uncomfortable?" Seven proceeded with more of a statement than a question. My words seemed to find themselves faster than I could form.
"I am not!"
"Is that so?"
"Mhm" I mumbled so soft I wondered if he heard me. From my opened bedroom door, I could hear the downstairs front door slam signifying that my mom was back from work, shortly following was the sound of Saber barking. My heart pounded harder and my eyes widened. My initial reaction was to push Seven to the window so he could climb out, and I did accordingly. I grabbed the side of Seven's shoulders and pulled him to the opened window. "Jump please" I whispered to him, still clinging to his surprisingly firm shoulders. "I will 'climb' down your two story house" Seven spoke as if the idea of jumping was crazy "if and only if you kiss me goodbye." Seven was now turned so that he was facing me with the biggest smirk on his lips. To not to kiss him would be fatal, to resist that strong of an urge. "Quinn, dishes aren't done" my mom yelled from the kitchen. "Get down here." I was frozen in my tracks, not able to move. The only thing I could managed to do was stare into Seven's eyes, they screamed at me. Do it. "I-" My words came in inaudible stutters. "Fuck it" Seven said as he roughly grabbed the back of my neck and pulled me into a short embrace. His lips were soft and firm. Seven pulled his head away, but still close enough so that his breath felt hot against my skin. My eyes were still closed but I hadn't noticed that my hands were now wrapped around his neck. "Quinn?" My mother's voice yelled again. I pressed myself against Sevens body, kissing him one last time before quickly pushing myself away from him to run downstairs.
