Chapter 10: New Teacher

~Kailey pov~

"Have you seen the new teacher he's so hot!"

"I wonder how old is he."

"Oh god do you think he's single"

"Now I regret not wearing my favorite dress that always make guy fall on their knees."

"Gosh don't they have anything better to do? Like study or project?" Sarah complain as we walked toward our lockers.

"I don't know but I am curious about this new teacher. Don't you?" I question her as we open our locker and bring out our book that we will need.

"I do!" She answer and walk over to our homeroom.

We walk in and sit on our usual seat and start talking. Few minutes later Mrs.Clode came in follow by a young teacher. They turn to us and Sarah and I gasp 'Manu?'. (Mah-nu)

"I didn't expect him to work here." I said looking at Sarah.

"Me neither but here he is standing there." We watch as the principle Mrs. Clode introduce him to the class.

As she left Manu make his way to the black board and wrote down his name. 'Manuel Jackson' he turn to face us and smile.

"So class as you all know your teacher is in the hospital now after getting birth but she'll be back hopefully." The girls in the room and few of the boys frown. They must really hate our math teacher.

"So Ill be your substitute teacher so bring out your text book and start doing- " he open his textbook and looked over it for a while then continue "page 24 -25 and if your all done you can leave."

I was the first one to done with my work but knowing Manu he didn't want me to leave just yet. So I waited and watch as everyone get out one by one. Sarah was the 4th to the last but Manu make her to stay as well.

Sarah and I watch as a guy left and the last two was Victoria and Dylen they were the last one who are still here. Manu looked at both of us then back to the 2 love birds at the back.

"You may leave I have to talk to Ms. William and Ms.Margotalles but complete your work before tomorrow morning and bring it to me." We watch as Victoria and Dylen left. But before they get out Dylen was looking at me then back at Manu. They left closing the door living the 3 of us alone.

"Wow I can't believe your my teacher." Sarah said cutting the awkward silence in the room. Manu stand up from his desk and walk over to us he give us brotherly hugs and smile down at us.

"And I can't believe I am teaching two idiots." Sarah and I rolled our eyes and give him our best glare.

"The last time I check the only idiot here is you." I said smirking at him.

"Oh please I wouldn't be here if I am an idiot." Ah so full of himself he really haven't change.

"So why are you holding us the bell will be ring soon.!" Sarah said and Manu smiling and happy mood change.

"Hey are you okay?" Sarah and I asked worried about his change of mood.

"I am fine both of you aren't ." He said looking at me.

"What do you mean?" I asked curious about what he just said.

"We all know that I don't want to be a teacher. But I volunteer just to be close and watch you. I am a spy but don't tell anyone about this." We looked at him jaw dropped and hitting the floor.

"Seriously?" Sarah asked excitedly.

"Don't be excited just yet. Your dad make-" he didn't get the chance because I cut him. "MY DAD DID WHAT?" I said angrily. Dad should stop baby me and using people to take care of me I can do it by myself.

"No2x don't get it all wrong he just wanting you, Sarah and Lia safe." I rise my left eyebrow nodding him to continue.

"What will happen to us anyway? Is not like Loga- no wait is he?" We all know what Sarah was about to she and that make me feel uncomfortable.

Manu looked between Sarah and I nod his head confirmingh that what Sarah was about to say was true.

"No no no this can be happening.. " Sarah said shaking in fear beside me. I on the other hand was holding back myself from breaking down everything I see and try to act strong. I am doing this for Lia and I will do anything to keep her safe if that the last thing I'll do.

"That why I am here so don't worry I won't let him near you two or Lia. I promise." We hug his other but our little moment was rudely interrupted by the bell. 'Geez!'

Sarah and I went to all of our classes after but I never focus to any of them nor listen to what ever the teachers said. My mind was somewhere else and all I could think of was Lia.

Lunch came and Sarah and I are walking to the cafeteria not saying a word. We didn't bother to say anything to each other but we know that we still have each other.

As we open the door to the cafeteria everyone stop doing what they were doing and looked over to us. I walked in annoyed as everyone started to whisper to each other.

"What does he see in them?" I heard a girl whisper but not paying attendance to her.

"If the principle know about this he's going to get fired. Because of those two whore. Looked at them so disgusting." We ignore people comments as we continue, we get our foods and went to our usual seat.

We were seating when Dylen and his group join us. Sarah and I looked at each other then back at them. The table was already full so the only one who don't have chair is Ryder.

He walk over to Sarah and pulled her to sit on his lap. "I don't want do deal with this. So cut the crap why are all of you here?" I asked looking at all the boys.

"Who is that teacher and what does he want from you?" Dylen asked not answering my question. How dare he ignore my question and he think that I'll answer his question.

"Is that why all of you are here?" I asked rising my eyebrow.

"I'm here just to be with my girl but I don't know about them." Ryder answer ignoring me and my glare.

"WHAT THE FUCK!" I shout as hot drink pure on my head. The Boys, Sarah and I turn around as we see Victoria stand there smirking.

"Oops.!" She laughs evilly and turn around. 'Oh no you can't just do that and turn around. This is my baddest day ever and not in the mood to deal with people like her.' I stand up and grab her hand and spin her around and we're now facing each other.

"Wrong move bitch!" I said and punch her nose but before I could punch it again the boys and Sarah hold me back.

"Calm down Kai!" Sarah said calming me down as everyone were looking at me with wide eyes.

"CALM DOWN? ARE YOU DEFENDING THAT BITCH?" I said pointing at Victoria who was looking at me scare but replace is with a fake smile. I know she don't want to let herself down.

"Kai your not in the right mine now. Chill! Now I want you to breath in and out slowly." I looked at her and laugh loudly making everyone confuse.

"You and I both know that won't help so stop!.... PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!" I shout in frustration then left.

I freakin hate this life and before I could leave the campus Manu run out of no where and stop me.

"What? Are you going to make me stay? Because I am not going back there I'll break anything there and scare everyone away. So stop!" I said and walk away.

"No I know how you feel I was just going to cheer you up. How about chunk foods and movies." I eyes him from head to toe.

"I am not taking no for an answer."he pulled me and we walk over to his car. We drive home but stop at few store to crap foods and movies.
