Chapter 17: The Talks

Kailey pov:

Yesterday we all end up watching moving on the living room until I fall asleep with Lia on my arm. But when I wake up I was in my room. I didn't asked who bring me up, because I already know who would do it. It either Manu or Heckker.

"Call me if anything happen." I kiss Lia forehead as Mrs.Jackson rolled her eyes. "Of course just go already you're already late."

"Right!" I hurry out and get into my car not worrying about Sarah because Ryder came early in the morning and took her while I was still sleeping. They didn't wake me, they all think I need more rest because I haven't gotten one for a week.

But me being me, I wake up later 49 minutes late get ready and when down for breakfast and here I am on my way to school. You know they say that 'Being late is better then not being there at all.' I parked my car and hurried into my second period. "Ms.Willaim! Care to explain why are you late?" My English teacher say galaring at me for interrupting her class.

"I would love to but the look you're giving me right now make me change my mind." I smirked and make my way to my seat and look up at her to see she her face with anger. "Get out Now!" I grin and stand up "Okay!" with that I was out the door.

"So what did you do this time?" that was Spanter and walking behind him was non other then Dylen.

"Nothing ." I ignore them as I walk away. Unlike before I don't glare at them or wanted to murder them especially Dylen. In fact I don't remember when did I forgive him but I won't say that out loud.

"Kailey" I turn around and come face to face with Dylen "Yes?" I was a bit cold but didn't bother about it.

"I-" I cut him "I don't have all day, please say what u wanna say" he hesitated for a while then look up "Can we talk? It won't take long I promise!" I study him for a while. 'should I go or not' before I change my mind, I look at him and nod. Let get this over and done with.

Dylen release a huge breath I didn't know he was holding until he release it. "Follow me." I follow behind him as he lead me up to the top of the school. I look ahead of me, it was beautiful to look at the houses and building that are fully display infront of me. Then I eye around the roof there were flowers many different kind of flowers. I didn't know there is a beautiful place up here, I should come here more often. Someone clear their throat snapping me out of my thought "Sorry I was just amaze about this place." Dylen just nod and smile at me.

"Let go over to the chair over there." he pointed to a chair and we make our way to it. "So what do u wanna talk about?"

"Kailey, I - I'm sorry I -" i hold up my hand and shook my head "I forgive you." well there goes the words.  Dylen look at me happily then smile weakly at me "Just let me explain, just shut up and listen." I playful glare at him but nod for him to go on. If I want a fresh start then at least just listen to his side of the story.

"The day you came to Angela house to find us kissing " I tense hearing that, but calm when a hand touch my shoulder calming me "Sorry please countinue" he sigh then nod his head "Well I was looking for you at that time, Angela lied to me saying that you're inside her room so I run up to her room only to found out that she lied to me. She even lied to me saying that you're at her house that why I was there in the first place. Then when I realize she lied I was about to leave but she block my way and kiss me without my permission, I was so shock to react that why I didn't push her away that when u came and saw what happen." I release a breath I didn't know I was holding until he explain himself.

We looked at each other not saying anything. I feel relieve knowing the truth as if the ton weight on my shoulder was release. I look away from him "I forgive you. But that doesn't mean I am coming back to you. I have a lot of things going on with my life right now and I need to at least clear them up little by little hoping that I'll clear them up and live peacefully." Then I turn to look at him "So what do you say we start again? " he smile as he bring up his hand for me to shake "Friends?" I took his hand "Friends." with that I shook his hand and now we were both smiling but not like the forceful or sad one it was a real one this time. The school bell when off signaling us that second period just ended.
