Bulma was flying home in her aircraft. She was severely bothered and tapped her fingers on the steering control. Not only was she still digesting the undeniable evidence Chi-chi had presented, she was feeling guilty for upsetting Goku. It was just so hard to remember Goku was no longer a little girl anymore.
"I have to go see her, I feel way too guilty."
Bulma guided the aircraft off it's original course and over to Goku's house on the outskirts of the city by the woods. She slumped into her seat, it was her overprotectiveness that made Goku stay here. Goku always wanted to go adventuring and live in the little house of her deceased grandpa.
Bulma toke a deep breathe. This wasn't fair to Goku, and she knew what she had to do. Even if her worries were high, especially with Raditz running about. Bulma just had to swallow her personal fears, this was the perfect opportunity to prove she trusted Goku.
Raditz had left long before Bulma arrived, leaving Goku to her thoughts. There was no way she wouldn't go if what Raditz said was true. She just needed proof it was true. Though the pressure was on, he did tell her they were risking their lives to come convince her. She couldn't live with the unknown or guilt of their deaths when they sincerely asked for her help.
Goku also questioned her effectiveness against this Freeza tyrant. Raditz was so much stronger than her and she could only imagine the other two saiyan's power levels. How would her trifling power in comparison help at all?
A knock rang from the door. It startled Goku, she wasn't expecting it, she had been too wrapped up in her thoughts. Now though, she felt Bulma's ki. Goku instantly felt cold towards answering the door, but it wasn't her nature to hold grudges.
Bulma stood anxious outside, it never toke Goku that long to answer the door. She felt her friend's ki in the house, what if something was wrong?
Bulma lifted her hand to knock on the door once more but the door quickly opened to reveal Goku.
"Oh Goku, I'm so sorry, please forgive me," Bulma instantly begged at the door, she didn't dare to let herself step in the house.
Goku watched Bulma, and shook her head, "I forgive you Bulma but I can't live like this. I need to.. To be free."
"I know," Bulma sniffed, "And that's why I want you to know that you don't have to live here anymore."
Goku was taken aback, Bulma was suddenly crying and giving her leave at the same time. A part of Goku cheered, she was finally free to go where she willed. If she wanted to go with Raditz it was her decision and hers alone. The excitement of being able to face a strong enemy was now an actually possibility.
"Thank you Bulma," Goku wrapped Bulma up in her arms.
Bulma laughed through her tears, "You only stayed here miserable because you didn't want to upset me."
Goku frowned and looked Bulma straight in the eyes, "I wouldn't say miserable but I wasn't happy. It is true I also stayed just to make sure you didn't worry."
"I'm so sorry Goku, now you just need to know, if you are happy I am happy," Bulma stated with a smile.
Goku smiled back, she seriously hoped so.
