At first I only wrote this fanfiction for Sophie because she was my favourite YouTuber. But I never ever knew how much other people read it and how much reads I even got and how much of you took time out of your day to even read this fanfic. Sorry for all of this blabber ~ let's get into the next part <3

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

It had been at least a week since Severus had asked Sophie to the Hogwarts annual dance, and Sophie had been more nervous than ever whenever she saw Severus. Tonight, the dance would be opening. Sophie was so excited! She'd always had a crush on him, but she never told anyone. But she was his best friend and was never afraid to stick by his side.
It was just 7:00am when Sophie heard her alarm go off. "Ugh... It's morning already?" She groaned sliding out of bed. "Oh Merlin! The dance is today! And I get to go with Sev..." She hugged her pillow as she blushed quickly getting dressed and skipping out of her dormitory and heading down to the Slytherin common room. She spotted Severus sitting on the sofa by the fireplace, who always seemed to be reading 'Advanced Potion Making' by Libiatus Borage.
"Good morning," Severus whispered to Sophie before she exited the common room to eat breakfast.
"Oh hi," Sophie blushed. "I'm about to go eat... Do you wanna come with?" She asked shyly.
"Okay." He replied. He shoved his book back into his leather bag and Sophie and Severus headed over to the Slytherin table to catch up on a quick breakfast. As soon as they took a seat, Sophie started piling a lot of food on her plate like an omelette, French toast and scrambled eggs. After a couple of seconds Sophie noticed Severus staring at the Gryffindor table, where Lily and James were sitting.
Sophie kind of felt jealous. "You ok, Sev?" She asked.
"Yes. It's just that stupid Potter... He really changed Lily. She's not the same anymore..." He sighed.
Sophie patted Snape's back. "Yeah exactly... I don't know why she chose to be with James. But I know how much you liked her, I know it will be hard to move on from her but love is weakness... That can be played in a good and bad way. But I'm here for you okay?" Sophie smiled. Snape nodded. Snape's feelings were mixed... He was still desperately trying to get over Lily but he was starting to get feelings for Sophie too, after all she's always been there for him.
He decided for the day he would only focus on his feelings for Sophie. He really did like her... He was thankful to have all the same classes as Sophie that day, so he could spend much more time with her.
They spent a lot of valuable time together even if it was the classes. They helped each other out and had whisper conversations with each other even if they were supposed to be doing work, and created some giggles out of it. Severus really started to see why Sophie was such an amazing girl. Severus was even as excited for the dance too, just as excited as Sophie was for it.
Just a couple more hours until the dance started!
