Miracles

     "Are you really not going to that dance?" said Severus shyly.
     "I dunno, it depends. Haven't got asked by anyone -cough-nosurprise-cough- but I don't really know any of my friends that are going so if I do, I'll just be bored out of my mind and feel like a weird loner." Sophie laughed.
     "Why aren't any of your friends going?" Severus said.
     "Well, some of them are but they've all got dates," Sophie scoffed. "If I go with one of them I'll be a third wheeler.
     "What if there were somebody to go with?" Severus seemed smile at this point, but Sophie didn't know why.
     "Are you like, trying to persuade me to go to the dance or something?" She raised an eyebrow. "But anyway, it would be a miracle if I did."
     "That's the thing- I was kind of wondering if you could go." asked Severus.
     "I've already told you, I'd be bored out of my mind if I did!" Sophie laughed again.
     And Severus sort of did a small one too. "-Er, what I mean is.. with me, I meant." Severus whispered.
     Sophie smiled and started blushing so hard. "Uhh, give me a moment!" She quickly ran out side to the entrance courtyard beside them then covered her mouth to stop her from screaming. She kept jumping up and down like a crazy wild animal, thankful that nobody was there watching her. She then stop and brushed off her robes and walked back inside the Entrance hall 'professionally'. Severus was still standing there waiting for her decision.
     "Have you... have you made-" Severus wasn't able to finish his a sentence.
     "Okay, Sev! I have made my decision. And, yes! I will glad-fully go to the dance with you." She smiled, and then she broke down in laughter, and surprisingly so did Severus and they both walked down to the Slytherin common room.

*Okay I may finish this soon because it's really late and I will do the parts of them attending the dance together soon I promise! I hope Sophie likes it..
