New key: (H/T)=home town
Last night wasn't the best sleep you've had in a while, for many reasons. You couldn't get to sleep until around midnight, anxiety engulfed your body and even in the comfiest of beds you where on edge. By the time you got to sleep, Tyler had a vivid nightmare and without warning clambered into your bed. Apparently he was extremely home sick, and as soon as he was with you he fell asleep instantly, snoring lightly, yet it still irritated you. You got about 6 hours of sleep, and you had a big day ahead of you. Your first day of school.

Your mum came into your room, spring in her step, singing brightly. She pulled the curtains open, causing sunlight to flood the room and force your eyes open. Tyler screamed girlishly, you groaned loudly and your mum sang louder. "Oh what a beautiful morning! Oh what a beautiful day!" She yanked the warm, soft comforter off your restless body. A sudden wave of morning chill sent goose bumps up your arms as you groaned again, this time even louder. Tyler jumped out of bed with yet another scream. "That's it! Get out of bed!" said mum, trying to coax you off your fortress of solitude. Using all your will power you pulled your self up and off, stretching and yawning loudly. "What was that for!" Ty moaned with an incredibly high pitched voice, almost like a little girl. "Only way of getting you out of bed on a day like this. Now go down stairs (D/N) made breakfast."

---

You where on your way to your new school, in (D/N)'s fancy car. Your OJ and pancakes seemed to be creating a tornado in your stomach, and your anxiety was through the roof. Tyler held your hand for comfort as you talked with (D/N) who you now called your dad, about making new friends. Ah yes, the art of socializing. Something you and Tyler both hadn't quite mastered yet.

He pulled up near the school gate, and you clambered out of the car. You couldn't hold Ty's hand any more for obvious reasons so you where left with fiddling furiously with the cuffs of your old hoodie. Tyler sent you a look of compassion as your new dad said his "good lucks" and "goodbyes". You made your way through the gates and up to reception, where a stern woman sat at desk, peering at you over her glasses.

"New kids, are you?" she said in a surprisingly posh American accent. "Yes" Tyler muttered for you both. He knew all too well how hard this was for you. "Okay well one minute, er these are your timetables.. let me just call them in - one moment" The woman said handing you the paper and looking busily around the room. Call them in? Who is she talking about?

Before you could even check your timetable, a boy your age strutted into the reception. He had sparkling brown eyes, a glorious sweep of black hair and an extremely bright smile. He looked both of you up and down, and introduced himself. "I'm Brendon Urie, your tour guide!" He said enthusiastically. "You must be the New kids, Y/N and Tyjo" Tyler laughed awkwardly and genuinely at the same time. "It's Tyler, but I don't mind if you called me Tyjo" Brendon chuckled and said "Good, because i'm gonna call you that anyway" You admired his confidence and decided you liked Brendon. You laughed along with them, and Ty sent you a look that said "You're doing great".

Then another person came in, but this time it was a girl with a friendly face and bright blue eyes. She put her shiny blonde hair behind her ear as she spoke. "I'm Jenna" she said simply, yet it held so much warmth. "I'm Tyler"
"(Y/N)" you managed to choke out. Neither of them seemed to judge you, they didn't even you give you a weird look. Jenna's smile only got warmer and Brendon's eyes sparklier. They both seemed so nice.
"Brendon has probably already said this, but we will be showing your around and helping you out when you need it"
"Yeah ok Jen- they get it lets go!" Brendon said excitedly with finger guns. You just chuckled and Brendon seemed pleased to get a laugh out of you. They showed you the cafeteria, gym, math block, science and languages; all the while you where basically silent besides a few chuckles. Then they asked where you were from. Tyler looked at you to see if you wanted to speak, and you just thought "fuck it" they seem nice enough so who cares if you stutter.
"(H/T), England" you said, without a stutter in sight. "Oh cool! Your British?" Said Brendon, he seemed genuinely interested. You chuckled and nodded. "Say something that's like, really British!"
"Crumpets and tea" you I said, in your most authentic accent. You had a sudden burst of confidence from Brendon's enthusiasm. Everyone burst out laughing, and you weren't even embarrassed. "Omg you're my new British BFF" said Brendon. He sounded like he actually wanted to be friends, and that made you feel special- if anything.

The rest of the day was the same thing every lesson. You where introduced to the class, people would exchange glances and whispers, you would sit down either next to Beebo (a name that Brendon asked for at break after you became BFFs) or Jenna and then you would have a normal boring lesson. This time, however, it was music, and neither Beebo or Jenna where in this class. Ty was though, and you where both standing in front of a class room full of instruments and intrigued students.
The whole welcoming thing happened, and then miss said "Would you guys like to group with Josh, he just switched classes so he hasn't got a group yet anyway- Josh is over here by the drums" She gestured towards a boy with pink floofie hair across from the class. You couldn't really see what he looked like just yet, but he has cool hair so you decided you where okay with this grouping.

Walking closer, you saw a cute boy with incredibly fluffy hair like you thought, but with deep brown eyes and an adorable face. He was sorting out a drum set busily and don't notice you until Tyler cleared his throat

-JOSH'S POV-
(holy shizzle you don't expect that did you)

I was fiddling with one of the screws on the whacked up school drum sets when I heard someone clear their throat. Thinking it was Jason trying to pick on me again, I ignored it at first, but then I looked up to see a boy with kind eyes and close cropped hair, standing next to a girl with shiny (H/C) hair and warm (E/C) eyes. Quite a pretty girl actually...
I felt my cheeks heat up when the boy started to speak "Hey I'm Tyler, er- Miss said we needed to group up with you... Oh and this is (Y/N), my sister by the way" Oh yeah, the new kids. I hope they're nice, they look nice enough to me. I need more friends anyway.
"Oh yeah, uh I'm Josh" I said. Wow I'm so good at this...
