*Justin*

12:48 AM

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing on the table beside the bed, the sound making Bella stir.

"Who's calling this late?" She groaned, her hand still rested in my abdomen from how we had fallen asleep.

"I don't know." I mumbled groggily back, reaching for my phone and saw Kyle's name lighting up the screen. "It's Kyle."

I was instantly awake, knowing he would only be calling this late if there was something wrong.

"Kyle? What's going on?"

"Do you know a Carmen Garcia?"

"What? No. Why? Are you at the hospital? Is Catalina okay?"

"Yes. He just tried to get into the NICU by telling one of the nurses Catalina was his niece. I stopped him before he could get any further. What do you want me to do with him?"

"You mean you still have him?"

"Yes."

"I'll be right there. Don't do anything with him yet."

"You got it."

"What's going on?" Bella said with wide eyes as I got up, watching me frantically put on clothes to get out of the house. "Justin-"

"I need you to stay here, okay?" I cupped her face, seeing the panic and fear in her eyes. "Catalina is fine. There's just something I have to go and take care of, but I need you to stay here."

"You're sure Lina is fine? Is it Manny? Was Manny at the hospital?"

"No, it was someone else, but I think he works for him. Kyle told me she's fine. I'm going to go check out everything now, but just in case, you've got to stay here, baby."

"What if Manny wants you to leave and go there because he's waiting outside or something? J-Justin-"

I pecked her forehead, walking into the closet and plugged in the numbers of her birthday into my safe, grabbing the gun I had gotten her a little while ago after she told me she wanted to learn.

"Remember how to use this?" I asked her, watching her big brown eyes widen at the realization that I was leaving a gun with her before shaking her head in a nod. "I want you to have it right here beside you. Call me if anything happens, and if you can't reach me, call Kyle. I'll send David into the house with you while I'm gone and I'll set the alarm. I don't think Manny is here. It's too smart of a move. They don't know where we are...I love you. Try to rest, but I know it's hard. I shouldn't be more than a couple of hours. You know one of Kyle's guys is right outside the house. You'll be safe."

"What are you going to do?" She sniffed, holding gently onto my wrists while my hands cupped her cheeks.

"Is going to go try and get as much information out of this guy as I can and figure out of he's working for Manny."

"Please be careful. Be so careful. I need you in one piece when you come home."

"I will be. I love you. Try to relax, okay? Just try." I kissed her forehead, catching one of her shaking hands in mine as I pulled away.

"I love you too. Will you call me when you're on your way home?"

"Of course." I tried to smile at her, praying I had given her some sort of reassurance. "Don't leave the house and if you haven't heard from me in two hours, call me and then the hospital if I don't answer.

"And Catalina?"

"I'll make sure she's safe. We'll see if we can get her moved to a different hospital if we have to."
