The door slammed open with so much force the tremors echoed throughout the coffee shop/ bar.
"Hello?" A deep husky, sexy Australian voice asked,
"Can I help you sir?" I asked kindly in my southern American accent.
"Yes, what do I have to do to find a bar in this town?"
"Pay sir, you've reached the only bar and café in the area for miles." I smiled,
"Oh, have any beer?"
"Yes, local?"
"Yes please." The guy replied kindly handing me a ten dollar bill, handing him back the change I smirked,
"When did you move here?"
"Excuse me?"
"When did you move here, I know all of the locals love, you're definitely not one of them." I sighed changing my accent back to normal.
"Today, I've been unpacking all day, all of my neighbours except one I have met." He sighed,
"Ah, where do you live?"
"Next door, I would've came to say hi, but I noticed you live with two very tired looking roommates." The guy sighed,
"Oh, well let me introduce myself, my name's Raven Phoenix." I smiled.
"Well Raven, I'm Blaze." He smiled.
"Welcome to hell." I smirked.
"I wouldn't go that far." Blaze laughed,
"You will, especially as you're my neighbour." I smirked,
"Why would that be? You seem perfectly nice."
"Well first off, I have three female roomies, we work at weird hours. And also as I have very young twins." I smiled,
"Ah, children. I have a lot of nieces and nephews. How old are they?"
"Well, they're around 9-10 months now." I smiled proudly, that I'd lasted that long.
"Oh, so they're newborns, that's sweet."
"So what brings you here?" I asked,
"Well I'm nineteen and I'm a painter, under another name. I dropped out of school once I graduated. And yeah, what about you? Not good in England?"
"Something like that, I found out I was pregnant, my parents disowned me, then something happened, gave birth and now I'm here." I smiled tiredly.
"That's a heartbreaking story. I'm truly sorry you had to go through your parents and things." Blaze apologies sincerely.
"Thank you." I sighed, "But I am appologising now, for the noise, I know the walls may seem thick but they aren't sound proof." I sighed,
"Okay I'll remember that from now on." Blaze smiled.
The café entrance bell pinged as one of my regulars walked through.
I smiled and handed Jake his regular order, and him paying me.
"Is that Blaze?" Jake asked, he was tall strong and handsome he was around the same age as Blaze.
"Yeah, it is, how do you know him?"
"He moved here from Australia and was a complete typical stereotypical bad boy and yeah, so he went back to Australia when people couldn't handle him anymore, stay away from him Raven."
"Why?"
"I heard he's a drug dealer, and was convicted for man slaughter."
"Listen Jake, I've dated people a hell lot worse than him, I think I can handle talking to him for a while." I smiled.
