Friday that week was tough. Lance kept seeing Keith in the hallways and class and knew he needed to help him but didn't know how.

Later in English Lance was passed a note.

"Meet me in the band room after school.
From: -•-"

Lance looked at it then looked back to stare at Keith. He was looking down at his paper nonchalantly. "Lance!" The teacher called on him.

He snapped his head to the front of the room, "yes?"

"Mind paying attention for once?" She questioned as she looked back at the board, Lance didn't like her.

After school Lance waited in the band room for Keith. After five minutes of Keith not showing up he got restless and looked about the band room, then he saw a tuff of black hair. Keith. He went to the closet of the band room, which was rather big considering it had to hold big instruments. He then saw Keith sitting on a stool next to the cellos, "Lance?"

"Keith?" Lance's eyes went wide.

"Lance," Keith stood up and rushed to give Lance a hug.

Lance was quick to put his arms around Keith as well. Make it so he touched his jacket and Keith touched his. "I missed you so much," Keith started, "I was such a jerk I should have never have ditched and I shouldn't have let you get beat up by Lotor."

Lance pulled him back to see Keith crying, "Keith don't worry, it's not your fault."

Keith wiped his tears away. "I just felt so bad and then I just couldn't reach you because Lotor told me I wasn't aloud to talk to you anymore."

"Keith." Lance said sternly.

"Yea?" He sniffled.

"This isn't your fault, it's Lotor's" Lance looked Keith in the eye.

"You mean moat tar," Keith chuckled and so did Lance.

Keith paused and stared at Lance, "Lance?"

"Yea?" Lance looked back at his eyes.

Everything paused and it seemed as if they were about to kiss as they seemed so close, "could I stay at your house tonight?" Keith questioned, and then but his lip, "it's just I need at least one night without him."

"Yea," Lance shook his head understanding, "what's been happening that you need to get away, especially tonight?"

"He's just really rude and I just, he's Lotor, I need to take a break from him... maybe for like a day... or week... or forever..."

"Okay," Lance nodded, "well my parents are still out of town, they will be for the next two weeks... you can stay over until then, then it's up to my parents... but my parents also only left me money for one person for two weeks... not two..."

"I've a job," Keith quickly said, "I just need a different place to stay then Lotor's."

"Alright then," Lance smiled, "you can ride home with me tonight."

"Lance," Keith sighed looking at him and reaching his hand up, "thank you, I can't tell you how much this-" Keith's hand had touched Lance's face but then he had gasped.

Lance's eyes went wide, "what's wrong?"

"L-Lance, d-do you... love me?" Keith stared at Lance still in shock.

Lance laughed nervously, "yea, you're like my friend of course I do."

"Okay," Keith stared at suspiciously.

"Why do you ask?" Lance gave Keith a strange look.

"N-nothing," Keith shook his head, thinking he was seeing things. When undead he was not seeing things. When he had happen to touch Lance's face he saw Lance gain color and his own hand lost color, as if he was transferring his color to Lance. Keith had thought maybe only Lance was in love with him but when he thought about it more, it didn't make sense why he would lose color then.

Lance nodded his head and shrugged it off. They then went to Lance's car through multiple back doors, so Lotor wouldn't find them. Keith had already told Lotor he was spending the week with someone else, after they had a big argument. After Lotor told him he had no place to stay, Keith claimed he was staying at his brother's. But this was incorrect because he didn't have a brother, he had an adoptive brother, but he had been missing for two years now and Keith would stay with his soulmate but thought that would be disruptive and didn't wanted to cause his "brother's" soulmate anymore pain.

Once they made it to Lance's house, Lance made dinner, despite how Keith refused to eat Lance's food.

"No really I'm not hungry," Keith shook his head.

"Keith, I don't care, you're eating my pasta."

"Ugh," Keith groaned but are the pasta and Lance swore he saw him smile when he thought Lance looked away. "Thank you," Keith muttered when he finished.

Lance smiled at this, "you're welcome." He grabbed there plates and put them in the sink. "Hey, do you want to watch a movie maybe? I have Netflix."

"Are you asking me to Netflix and chill with you Lance?" Keith said smirking.

Lance blushed, "Im surprised you even know what that means. Too bad it's a stale meme, but yes Keith, let's Netflix and chill."

"So no stuttering this time," Keith joked, "sophomore year whenever I'd flirt back with you, you froze and stopped functioning."

"Ha ha ha," Lance rolled his eyes, "when did you even flirt with me?"

"Lance you're not that oblivious," Keith sighed.

"Whatever, let's go watch Netflix," Lance tried desperately to change subjects.

They watched Coraline and Lance kept crying. Keith was confused because he'd never even seen Coraline as a sad movie before.

Once it ended the light from the tv glowed on them and they just stared at each other. "What now?" Lance asked.

Keith leaned in, "i don't know maybe bed."

"Where do you want to sleep?" Lance asked.

"Wherever you're sleeping," Keith answered.

Lance's face went darker, "why?"

"Because I miss our warm cuddles we used to have," Keith smiled brightly.

"Uh.. oh... okay...," Lance stuttered.

Keith chuckled, "there's that stuttering again."

They paused staring at each other. Keith took Lance's hand and it embraced with his own. And it happened again. Lance started gaining color and Keith started loosing it. Lance examined, "whuh-?" He then jumped back, "what was that?"

"Okay so you saw it that time?" Keith asked surprised.

"Yea," Lance nodded his head, "what the fuck does it mean?"
