It was two days after Scarlett got Jack back and she felt as if life was coming back together, but she was missing one thing from it.
Frank.
Frank was in the hospital the last time she heard and it killed her to know that she couldn't go see him. Scarlett sighed, putting a smile on her face to help her costumer.
"Here you go, sir. One chocolate milk with a plate of pancakes and sausage." Jack smiled at Scarlett. "Thank you, momma." Scarlett walked around to his side and kissed the top of his head, ruffling up his hair. "You're welcome, sweetie. Let me or anyone else know if you need anything, okay?" He nods, taking a large bite of his pancakes. Scarlett looked over when the bell rings from the door. In walked Matt with a women Scarlett knew all too well. They both take a seat at a booth, another waitress attending to them. Once Scarlett served a few of her other customers, she grabs a coffee pot, heading over to their table.
"Coffee?" Matt's head twisted up, a small smile on his lips and the women across from him watched her with a curious look. "Yes, I'll take some," Matt said, pushing his mug towards her. Scarlett pours him some more coffee then looked at the women. "Any for you, Elektra?" The woman's eyes widened slightly. "You remember me?" She asked with her accent. "Of course I do, how could I forget." Scarlett gave the women a fake smile, squinting her eyes at the women.
"You did get my brother to do some crazy things." Elektra looked down, tucking a piece of her long dark hair behind her ear. Matt clears his throat, making Scarlett take her glare off of Matt's ex-girlfriend. "Scarlett," Matt started with a warning tone in his voice. "No, it's alright." Scarlett looks away from her brother to Elektra who was already looking at her. "I just came to give you coffee. Talk to you later, Matthew." Scarlett only now breaking eye contact with Elektra, walking away.
Scarlett has never been a big fan of the posh women. She had money and she flaunted it, at least she used to. Elektra was a bad influence for Matt, and she encouraged him to do things that should have never been thought of for him. Over time Elektra did more and more things that caused Scarlett to dislike her more and more each time she heard a new story. Scarlett uses to get the stores from Matt, but after he realized that she was starting to dislike the women, he stopped telling her, but Foggy ended up telling her some things too. Scarlett hasn't always gotten good vibes from the women, and she still doesn't but maybe that's because she's biased.
Scarlett leaned on the counter with her side, watching the two of them. They were having a heated discussion but she had no idea what about. It was at this time she wished she had Matt's hearing.
"You okay, momma?" Scarlett looked over at her son who was looking at her curiously. Scarlett nodded, giving her son a smile. "Yeah, I'm fine, baby." Scarlett's eyes drifted to his empty plate and glass. "Was it good?" Scarlett asked, motioning to the plate where food used to be. Jack nodded happily, a smile on his face. "Very." Jack nodded, rubbing his stomach. "You some more chocolate milk?" Scarlett asked and he nodded excitedly, making her laugh. "One chocolate milk coming up." She kissed his forehead as she took his plate and cup.
Once Scarlett came back to the front she seen Olivia sitting by Jack, in full discussion. Olivia got to see Jack for the first time yesterday, and she was very grateful that he wasn't harmed by those men. "Hey stranger, need something?" Scarlett asked as she set Jack's milk down, who quickly grabbed the glass and took a big drink. Olivia smiled at jack then turned her smile to Scarlett. "An extra strong coffee would be great."Scarlett laughter turning around to pour coffee into a mug then set it down in front of Olivia. "The strongest we have is just plain black coffee." Olivia shrugs, pigging up the steaming cup of hot liquid. "I need it," Olivia said before taking a large gulp of the coffee, and Scarlett made a face. "Since when did you start drinking just plain black coffee?"
