The cold morning air breathed its way through your house and made the room seem icy. You looked dazed to your left to see the once full now empty ice cream pot on your bedside table the spoon stuck inside the pot. You sighed and lifted your head from your pillow walking to your en-suite bathroom and running some hot water in the sink. You began to hum away any bad thoughts which crept into your mind from the night before and waited for the sink to fill with the steamy water. Once it had you placed your fingertips in the water to realise just how hot it was, you winced away from its touch before braving its depths once more, when you had successfully cupped some water in your hands you splashed your face with the liquid. Feeling a lot more refreshed you wiped away the excess water with a towel and walked back into your bedroom. It was pretty early but considering you had fallen asleep so early you thought it would be okay for you to get up and loll about the house for an hour or so before getting ready.

Once you were out of your dark bedroom you had begun the walk down the wooden staircase and into the much more welcoming warm living room . You quickly turned on your electric fire and melted into its warmth. Sam came bounding to your position and rested next to you knowing you would bring him into a warm hug like you did most mornings.

"Hey boy," you smiled stoking his back as his tail wagged back and forth along the floor, "did you sleep well?" he bowed his head slightly in response, before you continued with a slight chuckle, "I did thanks boy," as if replying to a question he had asked telepathically.

"What is this trickery mortal?" the familiar voice of your unwanted guest arose from behind you. You rolled your eyes and spun around to find his person, but he wasn't there until you turned your attention back to the fire where he now perched beside you.

"Trickery?" you questioned.

"You possess magic which you use to talk to animals telepathically?" Loki asked starring at you wildly 'with his stunning green eyes' you thought to yourself.

"Magic doesn't exist!" you snapped and averted your staring gaze from him and back into the fire.

"Oh really pet?" he said rather alluringly to you, you slowly moved your gaze to meet him, he was smirking at you weirdly and wouldn't speak any further and you couldn't understand why until you looked down.

Your grey jogging bottoms and over-sized grey hooded jumper had vanished and hand been replaced by a flowing glittery gold dress that went to your ankles it was encrusted with thousands of golden flecks. You then found jewelry around your neck and wrists, emerald green jewels to match his eyes. You sprang up with pure excitement you had to see how the outfit looked in a mirror it seemed beautiful just from its material. Quickly you made it to the top of the stairs and into your bedroom flicking on the lights and standing in front of your floor length mirror.

"Wow" you gasped in a hushed whisper.

"Just wow," you continued as Loki crept up behind you.

"Now tell me love, do you believe in magic now?" you could see Loki staring at you in the mirror he had a gleam in his eyes.

"I do, I..no wait...I don't...erm...it's just so beautiful and I certainly didn't think you were capable of such beauty." You spun around to find Loki closer to you, your faces were inches apart and you could feel his cool breath on your skin, sending shivers down your spine, you closed your eyes but you could sense his smile forming on his lips in front of you, anticipating your next move. You couldn't resist a force stronger than nature was at work, magic perhaps but you had to take the opportunity you had to know how it would be to kiss a god. Quickly your lips met his and his silver tongue certainly began to work its magic on you leaving you gagging for breath as he ran his fingers through your hair, you could feel his smile against your lips as though he had devised a perfect plan and here you were falling for it. You had to stop. Not only for the breath but you couldn't let whatever it was that was happening to you emotionally get any further. You bit your lip with frustration, tension once again building between the gap that was among the two of you.

"What was that for ____?" he asked his throat wispy.

"I err..." you cleared your throat, "I'm sorry," you resorted to immediately averting your gaze.

He angled your chin so you looked at him once again, "That is not the feisty mortal I am used to, do I make you weak love, do I reduce you to only desires, temptations and sweet surrender?" he raised an eyebrow.

"Change. Me. Back." you stated plainly one word after another angry at the truth of his speech.

"If you wish, but know my love. You. Need. Only. Ask." he replied in the same way you had with a wave of his hand, like his icy touch overcame your body and your original attire was once more.

"Don't count on it!" you cursed anger now stricken upon your face, 'how could you be so weak ____?' you asked yourself, as you watched Loki willingly sauntering out of your room, for you to get dressed.
