The door rattled as someone thrust a key in the lock.

You prayed it was the one gaurd you hated seeing, maybe that would make it easier.

The door opened and Tony stood there smiling.

You had to hold back a gasp, you had to play along, no going back now.

"Wow, didn't think I would see your face again after your sudden outburst..." you said in a playful voice.

He rolled is eyes, "well guess I just can't stay away from pretty girls," you relaxed a little, old Tony was back, "besides you've had time to remember."

That last part wasn't what you wanted to hear, "yes," you replied.

"So you have remembered?" he came bounding over to you, sitting next to you a little too close for comfort.

"Erm...no I have had time to remember, but I..." you tried so hard to make this part sound realistic, "I didn't remember a thing, got no clue what you're talking about," you jabbed him playfully in the shoulder.

"O," he said, that one letter breaking the room into silence.

You closed your eyes, took in a deep breath, began to wriggle your hand down the sofa until you reached your weapon. Fingers tightening around the material end.

"I have an idea," you said, hands still down the edge of the sofa.

"And what might that be," Tony asked in a dull tone.

You swung your legs off the edge of the sofa and moved around the back, dropping the blade back in its slot in the process. Had you seen sense?

"I think," Tony budged up when you had left not much and he was near the arm, you realised just how close he was to you before.

You reached the back of him and started to lean over his shoulder, eventually resting your chin on top of it he leaned into your touch. You began your descent down his arm with your own trailing his skin until you stopped on the crack of the sofa where you had left the blade.

"Well Tony. I think seen as you are so eager for me to remember, you, should tell me?" 'Give him a chance,' you thought maybe if he tells you now you won't have to threaten.

He looked up at you, this was painful.

"____ you know I can't do that."

"What's the matter scared of Captain One Eye," you immediately gave second thoughts to that nickname for Fury and winced.

Tony chuckled and looked back ahead, you proceeded, "You're. Iron. Man."

You drew out each word carefully, "yes but right now, I am an Avenger doing my job."

"Doing as you're told," you said under your breath, this caught Tony's attention and he looked up again.

Pain.

Your hand hovering just over the glass now.

"I have to ____ it's my job, besides if I tell you, it won't be the same now will it? You, yourself have to remember,"

"That goes without saying, but unless you got some magic memory potion in ain't happening," you said beginning to get irritated, it was him who was so apt on you remembering.

Your hand gripped the shard.

Ready.

"Maybe, I should leave you a little while longer, to think things through," he said almost about to lift himself up.

With your left hand which was free you pushed him down, "no."

"No?" he asked still facing the wall, maybe he was too annoyed himself to look up at you.
