In middle school I had lots of friends. We were a group of six people and we always ate lunch together, did our homeworks together, got detentions together.

Lee Hara:
But my friendship was the closest with one of them

Lee Hara:
She was my best friend

Lee Hara:
We were always together, we were inseparable.

Lee Hara:
And people took it the wrong way. Mostly our other friends. They started shipping us. But it was okay

Lee Hara:
We would laugh when they would make rhymes and laugh at us for always staying by each others sides.

Lee Hara:
She didn't care, nor did I

Lee Hara:
Until it got extreme

At first when it was only our friends it wasn't much but the next thing we knew was the whole school calling us names.

Lee Hara:
And.. She had a crush over this guy

Lee Hara:
Even that guy made fun of her one day

Lee Hara:
She cried in front of me, in front of us.

Lee Hara:
But that didn't make them stop

Lee Hara:
If we were really gay it could've been acceptable, somewhat.

Lee Hara:
But we weren't.

Lee Hara:
So I.. I did something

Lee Hara:
I started avoiding her. Because I wanted this to stop and I didn't want her to suffer anymore.

Lee Hara:
But even though she was suffering she couldn't accept me avoiding her.

Lee Hara:
She would call me late at nights, try to talk with me, hold my hand in front of others like we used to do before and I would ignore her

Lee Hara:
And that made things worse

Lee Hara:
Everyone thought that she was the only one gay, that she had a crush on me. And I was avoiding her because I didn't want people to think we were a couple.

Lee Hara:
So people started bullying her

Lee Hara:
Including the mutual friends we had once.
