A warrior and an apprentice came into the den, I didn't look up. I had scars across my face from badger claws, but what was hurting me the most, was the faint memory of my family. My father was alive, but I only met him once; he was deputy. I felt a wet nose touch my torn ear "She so scarred, she's only a kit!" It was a tom's voice. A younger tom spoke next "She's just sleeping-right?" I didn't bother to open my eyes. There was no point. "Of corse, she tired, and lost all her family at once. Except me, but I've been a bad father."

He sat sown next to me. Stormcloud. My father. His apprentice sat near me aswell. Blazepaw or Blazingpaw, I think.I can vaguely remember his apprentice cerimony. He licked my ear. I guessed I should wake up. I opened my eyes. He was a sturdy reddish brown tabby. I looked at him, and he wrapped his tail around me. "I'm so sorry." he meowed to me.  I lent into his fur. It was comforting and I felt so glad at least he was alive. "Stormcloud...?" Blazingpaw asked from behind him "Blazingpaw, we'll continue your training at sunrise tomorrow, Gove me some time with my kit." Stormcloud replied, not unkindly.

I curled up next to him, and maybe, I thought, maybe it'll be alright, and ill be happy again.
