Chapter 21 The Tour Bus On Fire

On one of Elvis trips to LA due to leaving late Elvis had asked for him and the group to stop at a motel so that he could have a talk with Larry Geller. When they stopped so that Elvis could talk to him they told Elvis that he need to make it quick because they were already late heading out to LA that day. After Elvis had finished his talk with Larry, Elvis started walking into the dessert a little ways. This was because Elvis and Larry both saw something in the clouds. When the group that went to LA with Elvis was ready to head back out on the road they went to Elvis and asked him what he was doing in the middle of the dessert Elvis told them he saw something. When they started driving to LA again Larry soon yelled from the back of the bus saying boss the bus is on flames back here. When Elvis heard that from Larry he told the guys to pull the bus over so that he could see what was wrong with the bus. When they pull the bus over Elvis got out and walk over to the back to see what Larry was telling him about the flames. When Elvis saw the fire in the back of the bus Elvis his shirt and used it to put of the fire coming from the back of the bus. 

When the fire was finally out Elvis told the guys with him that the bus was not going to be able to be drove again due to the fire that had started in the back of the bus. When the group heard this they asked Elvis how they were going to get to LA. Elvis told them that he was going to rent some cars so that they could get to LA. Elvis gave Larry his wallet and told him to use it to go and rent some cars. When Larry got to car rental place he told them that he need to rent some cars for a man named Elvis Presley. The car rental place told him that they were not to going to let him rent the cars .Larry than told them that he had Elvis' wallet in his had. Larry gave the rental guy the wallet to prove that Elvis was going to rent the cars that were asked for. The man still told Larry that they could not rent any cars and told him that they were too close to LA to let them rent any cars. When Larry told this to Elvis, Elvis packed all of the thing that they had brought with them on the trip to LA into a bunch of taxi cars just so that they could get the Elvis apartment in LA near were they were going to film Elvis' new movie.
