Just before Elvis had to go to Gremany Elvis got a call from his father Vernon saying that his mother Gladys was taken to the hospital because she was very sick. When Elvis heard about this he got a emergency leave so that he could go back home and be with his mother. When Elvis was home wit his mother Gladys,Gladys had ended up passing away due to being very sick at the time that Elvis was home with her. When this happened Elvis was very upset about this and know that he need to go back to the army because his leave was over.
while in the army Elvis still felt sad about his mother Gladys passing but still found other ways to make the felling of her passing go away. As that went on the felling only went away slowly.
