Safe- (chapter 4)

Sorry this upload took a little while! 

I won't be uploading as much for the next week or two! I have like 5678493764783 assignments and heaps of homework! :( I will still be uploading though, at least once a week.

I have a few ideas about where this story is going, im trying to make it the least cliche as possible, so i was thinking, would you guys be alright with a sort of alternative ending? something different.

And I wrote this chapter while eating pizza....you can probably tell....Pizza inspires me okay? :)

Due to the peacefulness of the house, I assumed the boys hadn’t arrived yet. The one time I had met them in person, they were constantly yelling and mucking around, I’m not sure they are even capable of being quiet.

I walked into the living room, where I found Harry flipping through television channels absentmindedly. I took a seat next to him on the plush couch, and stared at the picture on the t.v screen, which was constantly changing.

I was suddenly nervous about seeing the boys again, and I found myself nervously fiddling around with my thumbs. Even though I had spoken to all the boys on the phone regularly (mainly Niall) I still felt as if I barely knew them, as I had really only met them once, although I probably knew almost everything about each boy.

My thoughts were interrupted by car doors slamming, Harry glanced at me, gave me and warm smile, then held out his hand. I gladly took it, enjoying the warmth and comfort of it and he lead me out to the front, where the boys were waiting.

Harry let go of my hand once we were out the front and he walked over to the boys, giving each of them the ‘hand-shake hug’ thing that boys do.

Niall was the first to see me.

“LEAAAH!!!”  He screamed out, his amazing Irish accent ringing in my ears.

He sprinted to me and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a tight Horan hug, which was soon followed by another 3 pairs of arms.

“Need. Air. Can’t. Breathe.” I managed to choke out.

“Give the poor girl some air!” Harry chucked.

**10 hours later**

Anne had set up the bungalow so there were enough beds for about 6 people to sleep, there was two double beds and a single which were permanently there, plus two blow-up mattresses on the floor of the main room.

“NIALL! SAVE SOME PIZZA FOR US!” Louis screeched

“But I’m hungry!”

“Niall, you’re always hungry!” I joked.

We had ordered 3 pizzas and the boys were currently fighting over the last entire pizza. I had gotten about one piece in total, but I didn’t really mind, I was just happy to be with my best friends.

Niall pouted then gave a piece of pizza to each of the boys, then sat back down in his spot on the couch, already starting to consume the last four pieces of the pizza.

I was happily daydreaming and jumped when I felt a warm gooey object hit my cheek, and slide onto my lap.

“LOU!” I screamed at the boy who had just thrown a piece of pizza at my face.

“I thought you looked hungry...”

It will always astound me as to how Louis can look so ‘innocent’ when he is so... guilty!

“I can’t believe y-“  My reply was cut short when I heard a sound of a camera clicking.

“That’s going on twitter” smirked Liam

“You better not!”

“Just did” smiled Liam happily

I jogged over to my phone which was lying on the bench and brought up the twitter app, and sure enough there was the tweet.

And worse yet, apart from having pizza smeared across my face and clothing, I looked absolutely appalling, I was mid blink and my lips were in an unattractive position, no doubt in the middle of screaming at Louis.   

“Liam!”

Our screeching was once again cut short, as we heard someone quietly snoring, I looked around to find a peaceful looking Niall asleep on the couch, spread out across Zayn and Harry.

How anyone could sleep through this racket, I don’t know.

We all decided it was time for bed, although it wasn’t that late, only 10:00pm.

I quickly ducked back into the house, pulling out a fresh pair of sweats and a clean hoodie, I then walked into the bathroom, changed, then wiped the remains of the pizza from my face, then I pulled my hair up into a messy bun.

I stepped back out into the cool air, and walked back to the bungalow, where I found all the lights were off, and I could already hear muffle snores.

Hmm, thanks for waiting up guys.

I noticed the only bed that was left was one of the blow-up mattresses, which was positioned right next to the other blow-up mattress, which Louis was already snuggled up in, no doubt asleep.

I curled up on the bed, clutching the necklace on my neck, “I love you mum” I said softly.

The reason being, this was my mother’s necklace, I haven’t taken it off since the day of the accident, and I may sound insane, but I say goodnight to her, every night.

I woke to loud snoring, right in my ear. I noticed the time on the small DVD player.

Uggh, 1am.

I rolled around, desperately trying to find a comfy position which would somewhat block out the snoring.

It must had been about an hour later when I finally gave up, I stood up and started walking towards the first bedroom, praying that it was Harry’s.

Harry always made me feel better, he made me feel safe, and right now, that’s all I needed.

I opened the door cautiously, and then was relieved to find it was Harry’s room.

´Haz...”

He moaned a little, as he became conscious.

“Mmm, Lee?”

“I can’t sleep”

I could sense him smirk, then he threw the quilt back, and I climbed in as he put his arms around me, and for the first time in months, I felt safe.
