Josh's POV:

I wake up in a gloomy cell. There's nothing but a twitching lightbulb hanging from the ceiling.

My wrists are cuffed to the wall and I can't feel my arms and legs. My arms and legs were injected with something, so now I'm fucking paralyzed.

My head is spinning, throbbing with extreme pain. I reviewed all that happened before I was captured by Maverick. Going to my house, having flashbacks of my mom and Bonnie, facing Maverick, failing.

'I know Lexi's gonna be pissed when I get back,' I thought to myself. 'Merde.'

I tried to move my limbs but to no avail. Pain would just shoot from my gut to my limbs, making my escape useless.

"I see you've woken up Joshy," I heard Maverick's voice sneer at me.

The twitching lightbulb shone on Maverick's fucking face, just grinning at me. "How do you like it? It's not too gloomy, is it?"

"What in the fucking world do you want, Maverick?" I spat out. I'm tired of his shit. I really fucking am.

"Feisty and impatient! Oh come now Joshy, the fun is yet to come," Maverick sneered.

"My dear, will you please come in? There's someone I want you to meet."

I wanted to scream at Maverick for doing this to me. I couldn't believe it.

The exact copy of my mother, making them both look like the Disney Princess Belle. She is at least up to my waist. Dark brown wavy hair, now longer and in a braid. Hazel eyes still the same, showing innocence and confusion. Natural rosy cheeks and red lips, the same.

"Ma petit soeur," I said crying with joy. "You're alive, Bonnie!"

But Bonnie looked scared. She ran behind Maverick, as if for proctection.

Then Bonnie looked up at Maverick. "Grand frere, what is he talking about?"

Big Brother? Bonnie called ME Big Brother, why is she calling Maverick Big Brother?

"Il est normal, he's probably hallucinating. He did lose his mother and sister, so maybe you look like his sister," Maverick said, looking at me with that damn evil look of his.

Don't fucking tell me, no, this can't fucking happen. This can't FUCKING happen!

"Bonnie, it's me! Don't you remember me? I'm your real big brother!" I yelled. "Je suis votre frère, Josh Belgarde! And your name is Bonnie Belgarde!"

"Maverick, make him stop! He's scaring me!" Bonnie screamed while hugging Maverick's leg.

"You brainwashed my sister! You took her away from me! You took the only family that I had left!" I yelled at Maverick. "You took away MY BONNIE!"

"Enough! Bonnie, go back to your room, I'll take care of the bad man," Maverick cooed as he patted Bonnie's head.

Bonnie just looked at me with fear, then ran away. My baby sister, gone. No memory of what really happened.

"Surprise," Maverick smirked. "Little Bonnie's alive." Then Maverick left me in my cell.

How could he do something so cruel? My Little Bonnie doesn't remember me, her own flesh and blood.

My head is going to turn as crazy as Maverick. How did Lexi manage to keep her sanity?

I hit the back of my head as hard as I can against the wall behind me. No matter how hard I hit the wall, it wasn't a dream, I wasn't hallucinating. This was real.
