Why do we all go around with fake smiles on our Face?
True honesty - why has it been replaced?
Why do we gloss over the dark parts in life?
How come we leave humans, like us, suffering in strife?
So peculiar. So stupidly unrelenting
We're just continuously fooling ourselves, with no belief in repenting.
So instead of resisting and defying ourselves hope;
We should find the correct way. A path we all need to pave.
We should make it our mission:
To be who we are, to try to strive
To keep going despite the tumultuous strife.
Then we can sever the terrors with a diamond lined knife.
