Chapter 17

GUYSSSSSSSSSSSSS I'm super sorry I haven't been updating in awhile and I'm trying to make art for the new books i'm gonna start writing and...................AHHHHHHHHHH SO MUCH!!! But it's okay cause it's all worth it to see you all enjoying the book :3 Also I think you guys are really gonna like this chapter :3

Alex's POV

I had woken up slightly earlier then I normally would.  The unusual sound of a heartbeat was oddly close to my ear, but it was....it wasn't comforting per say more like.....relaxing.  Almost to relaxing as my eyes started drooping again and I had classes in an hour.  I forced my eyes to open and saw a bright white fabric in my face.  When I looked up I saw a sleeping Thomas snoring ever so loudly laying his head back on the couch.  I giggled silently and let myself off the couch.  That was until I tripped.  "What the.....".  I looked down and saw that Burr had fallen off the couch while he was sleeping and was now snoring into the carpet.  I laughed, but muffled it with my hand so I didn't wake the sleeping boys.  I went to my room, changed, and then wrote a note to whichever one of them woke up first.  I had grabbed a bottle of orange juice and was about to leave when I heard one of them stirring in their sleep.

I rolled my eyes and went over to see Thomas shivering slightly as he sat on the couch.  I couldn't blame him it was freezing in our dorm (A/N Kinda like my house :P).  I went to a walk in closet by Burr's room and grabbed Thomas a blanket.  Once Thomas was fully wrapped into the blanket like a burrito I kissed his forehead and headed out.

After I had walked like half way to the college something caught my eye.  It was Madison, but who is that he's with?  She had dark brown hair, almost black. She had a peachy lipstick on, and a hot pink tee shirt.  I couldn't see her eyes, but that was because she was facing Madison.  Did he get a girlfriend after we broke up?  Did he tell her about what happened.  There were so many thoughts running through my head, that was until she started walking up to me.  Crap.  Was I staring at her?  Does she think I like her?  Did Madison send her here to beat me up?  Before I could finish my thoughts this girl was standing right in front of me.  She was shorter than me considering the fact I had grown over the past three months.  I was now 4' 12'.  This looked at me with sorrowful eyes.

Then pulled me into her arms.

"What are you-" "I'm so sorry bout what he did to you".  She had a slight southern accent.  "W-what do you mean?".  I could see her eyes start to brim with tears as she attempted to wipe them away.  "I'm so sorry bout everything he did to you. H-he only j-just told me today w-what he d-did".  Her eyes were pouring out tears now.  "If I had k-known that he was c-c-...." "Cheating?".  There was another flood of tears.  "Y-yeah if I had k-known he was c-cheating on you with m-me I would have dumped him a l-long time ago".  She started to calm down a bit and looked at me with sorrowful eyes.  "C-can you ever f-forgive me?" "Of course I can.  It wasn't your fault he did that, heck, you didn't even know that he was, but it's okay i'm in a better relationship now".  She looked up at me cheerily, but still had tears in her eyes. "R-really?" "Really" "Wow. I'm so happy for you Alex".  She said brightly.  I giggled. "Yeah, so are you and Madison....." "No. I broke up with him this morning when he told me".  She looked down again.  "Hey listen there are no hard feeling kay?" "Okay.  Well I have to head to my classes, but I'll talk to you later" "How about I give you my number so we can text" "Okay!!". I wrote my number down quickly as to make it so we're not late for our classes. Once I was finished I gave her a quick goodbye, and then headed on my way.  I had gotten to my classes just as the bell rang.  I sat down and let myself catch my breath while the teacher took attendance.  I started to think back to what just happened not even five minutes ago.  Then I remembered something that intrigued me.

Her eyes held so much emotion when you saw them.

Well there you have it remember that girl from like chapter 12, well I brought her back.  Also remember how I didn't show her eyes in the drawing?  Well that was because 1: I'm lazy and didn't feel like drawing eyes, and 2: because I was waiting for the perfect chapter to write it was because her eyes held so much emotion.  Anyways I hope you like this chapter cause I don't know about you, but I think this is the best chapter in this book so far, but yeah hope you enjoyed this chapter, and i'll see you in the next one!!!
