it was a late night when you decided to visit your best friend ilhoon in his studio whilst he come up with new songs.

you brought some food with you, that you know he'll love. you know him too well because you have been best friends since kindergarten.

you waited for the bus and got in.

you opened your phone and opened messages. the both of you haven't texted that much so you had to scroll down, not noticing that there was a 'search' button.

you texted him first;

"" you're in the studio right? im bringing food.""

he immediately saw your message and started typing.

""ah, no need y/n. im with hyunsik hyung right now. no need to bother. it's late anyways.""

he texted you back.

""but im on my way already. we can share food with hyunsik !""

you opposed.

you saw your phone blink and there was an incoming.

"yeoboseyo?"
"ilhoonie!"
"eo? you're coming."
"yes im on my way."
"but you dont have to."
—"no! it's alright y/n. im hungry anyways."

hyunsik interrupted as he screams to ilhoon's phone.

"yah hyung!"
"it's alright!! i'll be there in 10." you laughed and ended the call.

you arrived and you heard songs playing, it was Guitar. Peniel's rap to be exact. (LOL OH MY GOD)

you knocked on the door and you saw hyunsik opening it. ilhoon on the other hand was not paying attention to you so you placed the food on the table and went up to him.

"yah, don't you miss me?"
"no." he coldly answered.

"he missed you y/n, to be honest he was even talking about how you don't talk to each other anymore." hyunsik confessed once again.

"see?" you stuck your tongue out and teased ilhoon.

"hmm, fine. team up on me." ilhoon glared at the both of you.

you laughed "okay, take a rest ilhoon. let's eat!"

he stood up and held you waist without you noticing.

the three of you sat down and started eating. after eating you heard hyunsik say something.

"okay, thank you y/n for the food! im gonna go now. take care of ilhoon for me." he teasingly says.
"yes, yes." you smiled at him whilst watching him get his bags and go out the room.

"so you missed me noh?" you playfully said.
"no, i don't." he said coldly once again, but you already know he was just pretending so you didn't say anything and waited for him to say it himself.

"okay okay, yes i missed you." he stood up, making you stand up as well.

he hugged you so tightly that you couldn't breathe in air. you've been hugging for 5 minutes now and he still hasn't broken it.

"you can stop now. and uh—yes i missed you too." you replied as you try to break the hug, but you failed to.

"just wait y/n, a little bit more time." he said

you already felt something strange but you brushed it off and just continued hugging.

"really, what's happening to you?"
"i don't know, to be honest. i think, i think i kove you."

you never thought he would say that in your whole entire existence, the both of you were cats and dogs. you don't even know why you became best friends.

"im sorry ilhoon." you quickly say as you run to the door, leaving him in the studio
