Percico 2: A longing lover

Chapter 4

Percy's POV

Oh thank the gods I found him. Those assholes knocked him out cold then ran off before I could get to them. I ran up to him and picked him up as gently as possible. He was bruised and bleeding in many spots. Wake up Nico. Please be ok. This has happened before but never as serious.

When we finally got back to the infirmary I never left his side. He woke up after an hour and I hugged him tight.

"Per-cy" he choked out. "Too...tight."

"Gods I'm so sorry." my vision blurred. "I didn't... want this to happen."

"Don't cry." he wiped my tears. "Please."

"Ok. I'm sorry."

"You apologize too much."

"I know."

We hugged more until the nurse told me he had to rest.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Ghost King."

He flinched the name. I haven't called him that for so long.

"You too, my Knight."

I smiled and walked out.

*time skipzerz*

Its been almost a week since that and me and Nico were walking on the beach together when we heard a scream. On instinct I ran toward it. Only to see the two people I hate laughing. Annabeth and Caleb. Great. Forgot they were dating. Apparently a jellyfish got washed on shore and scared Annie. Caleb kicked it and they laughed. Poor jelly fish, I heard it cry. I steered Nico away from them and we headed toward me cabin. Too late. They saw us.

"HEY FISH FACE!" Stupid Caleb. Has to wake the whole camp. (it was around 11 pm)

I turned and faced them.

"Nico, I'll meet you inside my cabin."

"No. I wanna stay."

"Go inside."

"But-"

"Go."

He ran inside and I walked toward them.

"Protecting your boyfriend Jackson?" he said the word like it was poison.

"What do you want Caleb?"

"Nothing much."

Then I sensed people near my cabin. Nico. I spun around and made a water bubble surrounding the cabin. The wall was thick and I would not let anything pass through it. I ran as fast as I could towards the cabin but was yanked back. I was kicked to the ground and felt the wall weaken. I was putting too much power in the dome. I brought some water close to me and made it boiling hot. I splashed it in the guys face. He screamed and I ran again. I made it to the cabin and passed through with ease. Nico was curled up on my bed.

"Are you ok?"

"I saw the guys charging this way then the water go up. I'm alright I guess."

"Good."

I laid next to him and let the water come down as a wave and push the guys and Annie into the lake. Preferably the middle of it. A mile out. We heard them yell and I felt them thrash. Won't be dealing with them for a while. Nico moved in closer and I held him. We remained like that for the rest of the night.

Ok no cliffhanger this time but still pretty good. I got a very very awful (for you) idea on how to end the book even though it won't be for a while. Last book it went to 30 chapters. This time I'm sadly thinking around 15-20. Anyways see you next chapter.
