Percico 2: A longing lover

Chapter 8

Nico's POV (long time since this happened)

As Annabeth stormed off and we calmed our laughter, everyone, as in everyone in the pavilion, stared at me for 10 seconds then erupted with laughter. As everyone continued on with their day, me and Percy both knew after that, we would have to watch our backs. And boy were we right.

*TIMEN SKIPEN*

I wasn't watching where I was going and ran into some girl.

"Watch it, asshole."

"Fuck off Callie." Percy snapped.

"Hmph!" She stormed off.

"I can defend myself Percy."

He legitimately looked hurt. Something had been bugging him.

"I know... I just want to be there for you. It upsets me to see you hurt." I smiled and kissed his cheek.

We walked to the arena to practice. We got out our swords and practiced on dummies. I wouldn't let Percy fight with me cause he goes too easy and plus what happened last time.

*mini time skip* (I know Nico is on crutches but he could still stand and fight on the dummy)

After two hours of training alone and silently, Percy spoke up.

"Can we spar now?"

"You promise not to go easy?"

"Maybe."

"Then no."

We continued with them dummies when all of a sudden Jason and Leo walked in. They immediately started fighting. After a bit Percy was working up a sweat so he took his shirt off. I noticed Jason looking at him as Leo charged. Jason fell and lost. Leo smiled and helped him up. Nope. Not gonna let those thoughts in. But his smile... NOPE. He could melt Antarctica with his laugh. STOP IT NICO. YOUR IN LOVE WIRH PERCY. I got the stupid thoughts out of my head. I didn't realize Percy went to talk to them.

"Dude. You lost twice to Leo. Twice."

"I realize that Jackson." Jason looked both happy and angry at the same time. If that was possible.

"TEAM LEO!" You can guess who said that.

"Shut up Valdez." Jason always called people by their last name except Piper. Cause their dating I guess.

"SUPER SIZED MCSHIZZLE!"

"Leo. Shut up man, seriously."

I felt left out of the conversation and I wanted to know what happened so I asked.

"Jason. What happened out there?"

"Uh..." Wait. Was Jason... blushing?!? "I got distracted or something. The light hit my sword and blinded me I guess." I was pissed off at his answer but nodded.

Percy and me left, and headed for my cabin. Percy kissed me goodnight, and walked off. I wanted him to stay...

"Percy!"

He turned around so freaking fast.

"Yes?!? Are you ok? Hurt? What is it?"

"Chill. I just wanted you to uh... stay the night."

"Course babe."

He scooped me up and got me undressed.

"What are you doing?"

"Getting you into some cozy pjs."

"Why?"

"So when I snuggle with you, you'll be cozier." My face went bright red at that.

"I DO NOT SNUGGLE!"

His response was tackling me onto the bed and grabbing my waist so my back was against his chest. He wouldn't let me go.

"There. Cozy and snuggling like my little Ghost King teddy bear."

"PERCY!!!"

I was so pissed off. He just fell asleep. I squirmed again but gave up. His grip was strong in his sleep. Dammit. I turned so I faced him and we laid there together. I lulled off to sleep with his rising and falling chest.
