Chapter three: Cora

After the fort incident, Pluto didn't talk to me for weeks. Not that I enjoyed his company anyways. We were more like

acquaintances again. Not speaking, just jumping. I basically had to wash out all my fun memories with Pluto: building

forts, having bonfires, laughing for no reason at all...gone. It all had to be long gone! I couldn't keep myself hung on past

memories. After all, they're just memories right? So we didn't talk. My one friend turned away...I fell into a bad

depression, not talking not moving. It took all the energy I could muster up just to make that day's E.O. So when I herd

we were getting another jumper, I was overjoyed. I made more then that day's E.O for weeks! Finally, on October 4th,

we got an extra piece of paper in our E.O saying the new jumper had arrived, her name was Cora. Cora came to The

Tramp on October 5th and Pluto got goggly eyes from the minute she joined us, and I couldn't really blame him. She had

fiery red hair and skin as tan as sand. Cora's voice was cool and wispy, like a swift breeze on a warm day. She had

electric blue eyes that reminded me of lighting. And not only was she pretty, she was smarter. She obviously came from

Talion. But the big question is, why? If she came from a place like Talion, why would she downgrade to being a jumper?

she says "to take a break with nature" hmm....maybe she wasn't as smart as I thought she was.
