Chapter four: Escape from Kristina

Turns out, Cora was a miracle. She weighed more than me and Pluto so we started to finish our E.O's very quick. So I

finally sucked it up and went hunting. After my first meal with Cora I realized Cora was a blessing AND a curse. Because

she ate more then me and Pluto COMBINED! After finding extra food for little miss Cora, I had one arrow left. So that

night I went under the tiny crawl space underneath the barbed wire fence and hiked up to the house. I crawled in the

good size hole in the downstairs window and sneaked upstairs. I almost got lost upstairs because I haven't been in the

house in so long. So anyways, I quietly sneaked to the 3rd floor and into Kristina's room. I pulled open the drawer in her

dresser where her stick knife was is it wasn't there. "Looking for something, Lynn?" Shot a voice from behind me. A chill

ran down my spine and I turned slowly to see Kristina siting straight up in her bed "yes, I was actually" I said with

courage "oh little Lynn, what were you thinking?" She said slowly getting out of bed with the stick knife still in her hands

"didn't anyone teach you not to bite the hand that feeds you?" She said "I don't think you necessarily feed me" I said

meanly. "Well, it's to bad you're such a good jumper" she said inching closer to me "because now I have to kill you"

Kristina lunged the sharp stick knife towards me and I ducked at the last second. I slid underneath Kristina's legs

knocking Kristina on the ground "you'll pay for this you little brat!" she screamed and she lunged at me again with the

knife and cut my foot and made it bleed a lot I kicked Kristina in the face and jumped over her I unlocked the window

and got perched on the windowsill, little did I know Kristina was behind me and pushed me out the 3rd story window,

But thank god for my reflexes and I grabbed ahold of the window. I knew this was the end, I was going to die right there.

but when I dropped, expecting death, I landed on a body. I got up and ran but when I glanced back I saw a face looking

at me and screamed "I won't tell!!" When I got back to The Tramp I grabbed that day's E.O and wrapped it around my

cut...The next morning i was awoken by Cora, asking two questions. Number one: did I get the knife? Number two:

what was with my cut? I knew I couldn't tell them about last night so I said that my foot got caught on a burr. But I had

to tell the truth later when Kristina came down and whispered in my ear "it's all your fault. Now my parents don't

trust me! They say it was a crazy dream! It WASN'T a crazy dream and Asia had the same dream to! So don't lie!" She

screamed "and YOU'RE going to have to speak for yourself because YOU'RE talking to my parents!!!!" She said as she

walked off. Asia, so that was her name. Apparently, Asia can't keep a secret.
