27 | Runaway Hoe

Lucy and Keisha sat and talked until they reached her destination. Lucy was impressed when they pulled up to a two story home in buckhead. "Thanks for the ride." Keisha said as the chauffeur opened the door, she turned back around as Lucy softly grabbed her hand.

"I'm letting you know if you speak about my family... including Corey.. With anyone... I know where you live." Lucy warned her before letting her hand go with a smile. Keisha nervously nodded before quickly walking towards her front door. Lucy didn't wait to see who greeted her because she still had family over at Kwan's place.

Corey stared at the crimson dot of blood in his cubital fossa, before the nurse put a small bandaid on it. "You're good to go." She smiled putting away all her equipment.

"So when will the results come in?" Corey asked, putting his suit jacket back on.

"Well since your ex-wife is the one who requested the test it depends on her when you would find out... but test usually come back 3-5 weeks with our lab." She explained.

Corey nodded. He took his phone out from the back of his slacks as he felt the vibration.

Maria is calling...

He slid the call to the right before putting it up to his ear. "What's up?" He asked pressing the down button to the elevator? Stepping on once the doors opened.

"Your little CAT ran away." Maria sounded annoyed. Corey knew exactly what she meant. He exhaled as he rubbed the bridge of his nose, "I'm on my way now." Once Corey made it to the first floor he hurriedly went to his car, cranking it up and making his way home.

Maria stood waiting for Corey with Keith behind her, "Where she at?" Corey asked as he walked past them to search the house. Maria shrugged her shoulders. Corey looked everywhere in the house and Starr was still no where to be found "Dammit!" He said angrily, hitting the kitchen island with his fist. He quickly pulled out his phone and tried dialing Starr's number but to no avail.

"Hey this is Starr, Apparently a bitch busy, so leave me a voicemail and maaaybe I'll call you back, Chau."

He shook his head before calling Lucy. If Starr went to the cops about Keisha; Lucy and him were both going to be in hot water.

Lucy made sure her send read receipts were off for Corey. She didn't want him to know that she often read his messages without replying.
She put her phone back in her black Chloè's handbag before stepping out the Mercedes-Benz Maybach as her driver held the door open. Lucy nodded as she fixed herself before walking in the building, Chatter echoed the empty building but came to a stop when the sound of Lucy's 6 inch heels clicked on the cold cement ground.

"How you doing, Ms. Santiago?" Jade smiled. Jade was her second best seller next to Weston But they both had different reasons as to why they wanted to get close to Lucy.

"Hello, Jade." Lucy nodded. She turned her attention back to everyone as she begun the meeting.

"This is just a regular end of the month collection." Lucy announced as her goons brought in duffle bags of money from the back. "Is this everything? 300k from each of you?" Lucy brought her attention back to the sellers as they nodded in agreement.

"Good." She smiled, "My Boyfriend Is throwing a little farewell party for him... and I." Lucy had finally made the decision to take the kids and leave with Kwan. Of course she'd let Corey get them whenever he wanted, but she wasn't about to stay in the states while her man left. "I would love for you all to join. I will notify yall a week prior.. until then, Be Safe." She added, once the duffel bags were packed in the trunk of her car she headed out there herself making her way to Kwan's place.

As Lucy walked through the door she saw suitcases waiting at the door. She walked through to see Kwan and their families talking in the dining room over some wine. "Lucy it was so good to meet you." Kwan's sister smiled as she gave Lucy a hug, "I would also like to apologize on behalf on my idiot younger brother, Steven." She added as she rolled her eyes.

Lucy let out an awkward chuckle, "Its Fine.. water under the bridge."

Everyone said their final goodbyes and soon it was just Kwan, Lucy and the girls. They watched a movie just to pass the time when Kwan got a call.

"What do you want?" He asked, annoyance washed over his face. Lucy quickly got up as she felt a change in the way he was breathing, letting her know something was up. She quickly got up and took the sleeping girls to the room before heading back to the living room.

"You okay?" Lucy asked concerned, she paused the movie.

"Bullshit! That stunt you pulled at dinner was unacceptable! naneun neoui eongdeong-ileul geod-eocha yahanda. lusineun nae geos-igo dangsin-i hal su-issneun il-eun amugeosdo eobs-seubnida." It was Obviously to Lucy now that Kwan was speaking to his brother. She kept quiet and waited for him to get off the phone.

"You come near us, and I will be forced to hurt you." Kwan warned before hanging up the phone. Lucy walked up to Kwan hugging him from behind. Her presence eased Kwan's mind. He took a deep breath before speaking, "If you ever see him, avoid him. Do you understand me, baby? He's.. he's unstable."

Lucy nodded, planting a kiss on Kwan's lips. She loved that when ever she touched him, her unborn children went crazy. Jumping and spinning around happily.
