"i have to meet my manager, i'm a singer. he says he has someone who i am singing a duet with on my next concert.

"i'm excited"

"Ah Annie" my manager says as i walk in.
"ready to meet the person your singing with?"

Annie's POV
"here he is!" my manager said opening the door.

"his name is Hayden Summerall" Nicole said

(A/N—Nicole is her "manager" in this)

"HAYDEN?!" i asked running up to him.

"you guys know each other?" Nicole asks walking over.

i locker fingers with Hayden.

"yeah, um actually we're dating" i said holding up our hands.

"well what a coincidence, i'll let you guys talk about what song you want to sing! meet me here in about 2 hours." she says waving.

"let's go to Starbucks and chat!" i say kissing him on the cheek.

we walk two streets over to Starbucks and i got a vanilla cake pop and a caramel frappe. Hayden got a chocolate cake pop and a pumpkin spice latte. "basic white girl" i say laughing. he laughs and sits down.

"what's your favourite duo song?" he asks taking a sip of his latte.

"well i like the song "in case you didn't know" but i don't think we would be able
to duet to it" i say frowning.

"we can try!" Hayden says smiling "i love that song too!" he adds

we talk for a while before we realize the time "Hayden we have to meet Nicole in 10 minutes!" Hayden nodded and we walked out.

we got inside and Nicole was waiting for us "so, did you guys decide?" she asks.
"well. we want to do "in case you didn't know" but it's not a duet." i say looking at Hayden.
"we will make it work!" she says putting her hands together. "you guys head home and listen to the words, get a hang of the music and i'll see you guys in a few days!" she says.
we nod and walk out.

Hey. i'm sorry for the short chapter, i've been trying to write, this literally took my 4 days because i've been so busy. i have lots of projects and tests and overall i'm trying to call my mom (she's away working and i haven't seen her in 8 months) and i've been preparing for when she comes home i'm going back to live with her. and i've been picking and cleaning. it's just a really busy time to be uploading right now. but this week i will try and post two chapters a day. maybe. because i won't be updating thursday friday saturday sunday monday i won't have wifi. but i may write at home and post them when i get to school. idek yet, so just bare with me. thanks for reading this chapter!
