Chris' P.O.V:

I'm in the room with the fire, and I fall to the ground at Leo's feet, coughing, and suffocate. I start to say something- but my eyes shut, and I die.

I woke up, to myself screaming in pain, like my right calf was cut- and it was. I look up, and see Khione standing in front of me.

"Daughter, I have come to warn you the boy- that son of Hephaestus -is dangerous." Khione said.

"Mom what the heck?! I don't like him like that!"

"Doesn't matter. He can kill you, easy."

"You're being paranoid."

"No I'm being a concerned mother. If he hurts you- I will do some very bad things." I stood up furious. Who does this goddess think she is?

"If you touch him, you will be very sorry." Then the door opened. It was Leo. Crap nuggets.

"What's going on?" he asked. I looked back, but mom wasn't there.

"Goddess drama." I answered.

"What does a cut calf have to do with goddess drama?"

"I dunno." I knew why. Khione wanted me to understand what she could do to Leo. "Woke up, there it was." I lied.

"Here." He walked to the top of the curving ramp, and pulled something out of his tool belt. "Ambrosia. It'll help."

I ate the food, and the cut closed. Cool.

"Thanks."

"No problem. Hey what were you screaming about?"

"Bad dream. And a cut calf. But that's all."

"Oh. Okay. Well, it's time for breakfast."

"Coming." I got out my phone to play some music when Leo said something.

"Hey, you do know that if demigods use phones, it alerts all monsters close enough where you are?"

"Oh. No I did not." Then I had one of those rare moments, when my brain can produce some awesome idea. "What if you could monster proof my phone!" Leo looked shocked.

"You trust me with your phone?" He had a point. I took a good look at him. Who would he give my phone to anyway? Plus, he is my friend.

"Maybe." he smirked.

"Got it." I tossed him my phone, and to my surprise, he caught it.

I took a shower in the wash room, and while I was there, I thought about what I told my mom. I don't like him like that! And how I took it a little offensive. What she said about Leo. I'm not even sure if I like him no more than a friend. This feeling is... weird. Dunno how to describe it.

After that, I grabbed a doughnut at breakfast and hauled Leo to training.

"Do we have to?" Leo groaned.

"No, but I have to. You can just watch though."

"Good. Hey, was there anyone you were talking to- before I walked into Bunker 9?" My face darkened, but I was ahead of Leo, so he couldn't see.

"No." I lied. "Hey what day is it?"

"Tuesday. Why?"

"I need to think about what song to sing."

"You're serious?"

"Turtlely." You know. Like totally, but cooler.

"What about a One Direction song?" Leo suggested. I turned to him. with my serious face on.
