Welcome to yet another journey I have planned. So glad you could join!
As you've already guessed, this is the next generation! Who's happy to see this? I've been giddy for MONTHS since I first started planning this, and now I can FINALLY share! I am hoping this will be loved just as much as Dare :)
For those who are unfamiliar with Dare, you may be confused on what I mean. So, Dare is a trilogy on Arnav & Khushi and next generation? It means I will be writing about their children! All the younger characters & a few new ones, entirely my own creation. Therefore, this does not fall under fanfiction. Making the best of both ;)
Just so you can understand my mind frame a bit... here is the preface. Why did I choose to write this?
Many asked me to continue Dare. Others asked me to write another story on ArHi.
So, I had two options.
Turn this into another Arnav-Khushi, like a Dare alternate universe (but I had also promised myself that after Dare and MCS, I will call it an end to writing fanfictions. As a writer, it gets limited when writing FFs because the characters are not our own, only our interpretation is. I won't go into details of legality when it comes to copyright for FFs, so moving on).
The second option was the idea of what happens after Dare? That was more enticing and a far greater challenge for me, creatively.
I have always loved the way I penned Aarav in Dare as a 6 year old, and his life? There is so very much that can be done. The scope is endless and I felt compelled to explore that. A side bonus, I get to write about AK, La, Sam, Anjali, Aman... all of them as parents! I get to keep my interpretation of those characters while writing my own!
It will be new and different and might take some adjusting to for you readers, but I desperately hope and wish you will continue on this journey with me even as Aarav is now the central character, and not Arnav and Khushi.
I understand most of the readers will be from Dare, AK and IPK fans, but hopefully if you loved Dare, I can count on you to read this and trust that I will not disappoint? If you choose you would rather not read this where AK will play an integral role, but less than Aarav, then it is ofcourse your choice. I cannot force you to read it, but atleast I hope you will give it a chance.

Please pay close attention to the following:
1. At first, it will focus more on Aarav & his life - before the others are introduced or even more space is given to the older generation.
2. [Edit March 30, '18: Updates for the month of April will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.]
3. If you ever get confused with the connections between characters, don't hesitate to ask! While writing, I've myself been confused pulling my hair at times, so no shame :)
4. The actors I have picked are of my choosing purely. If you do not like them, you are welcome to imagine anyone else!
5. The format of this is a bit different. There will be entire chapters from Aarav, Jhanvi, Rihaan & Sanya's (more on these two later) POV. So, make sure to notice which POV it is from so you're not confused!
♔ = Aarav ; ♕ = Jhanvi ; ♚ = Rihaan; ♛ = Sanya
If a chapter will be from a POV different than these 4, I will be sure to point it out.
6. I am calling this series Heir & Heiress because, in a way, each of the main characters is either an heir or heiress. Aarav's story will be called 'Dare to Be' to keep in sync and connection with Dare series ;) I have another name for another couple which I will reveal when the time comes.
7. A fair warning: Unlike Arnav-Khushi, where everyone knew who the end couple would be given it was a FF, keep no expectations here! This is where the plot comes in, so I will let you figure it out at our own pace :)
As the book continues, I will explain why the series is called Heir & Heiress and why Aarav's book is titled Dare to Be. Before then, if you have made theories, you know to let me know. ;) I love it when you guys play guess and check and try to read my mind xP

Arnav + Khushi = Arshiya (17 years old)
Lavanya + Sam = Sanya (15 years old)
Armaan + Riddhima = Rihaan (14 years old)
Angad + Kripa = Kriana (14 years old)
And, as you already know from Dare: Aarav = Arnav & Lavanya's adopted son, Anjali's real son.

After the ages, hopefully, now you will understand why I said earlier Sanya and Rihaan will be more towards the later ;)
