I Should Have Kissed You

Chapter 1- The Beginning

Melanie Block was just a ordinary teenager who loved to sing. She knew the chances of her getting noticed were very slim, but she never stopped trying. Every Friday night she would post a video of her singing onto YouTube. After maybe 3 months she started getting really well known around her little town in Buffalo. Even though she wasnt even remotely famous, she was getting booked for parties. But sooner then later all the hype about Melanie died down and she became a normal teenager again.

Liam's POV

"Hey guys look over here." Niall says pointing to the computer screen.

"Who's she, she kinda cute." Harry says with a huga grim.

"Her YouTube Channel says her name is Melanie Block, Shes 18 and she loves One Direction and singing.." I exclaims.

"Well she has fantastic taste in music then.. also i agree with Harry.. shes a cutie!" Louis says as he walks into the room.

"Well if there is one thing that needs to be said here, that word would be DIBS!" I say hoping none of the boys get to mad at me.

It's just, there is something about this girl that is so beautiful. she sings, and from her vlogs.. she just seems like a great girl. "Hey not cool bro." Niall says looking kind of sad.

"Fine i take back my dibs.. i forgot that normally only 13 year old girls do that.." I says as everyone starts laughing.

"Hey guys im getting really hungry! Can we go out and get some food?" Niall asks.

"Sure thing buddy.. Liam are you coming?" Zayn asks.

"Yeah..um.. ill be right there." I say as i quickly sit down at the computer..

I send Melanie an IM saying "Hey i really like the music you sing and you are very beautiful.. we should talk more.. btw my name is Liam.. have a fantasic day!"  Then i quicky log out and run to catch up with the guys..

Melanie's POV

Wow an IM? I haven't gotten one of these in a long time..

"Hey i really like the music you sing and you are very beautiful.. we should talk more.. btw my name is Liam.. have a fantasic day!" 

Oh my god that is so sweet! I have no clue what the hell to reply.. "Looks like i'm calling Sarina." I say outloud to myself.

"Hey Sarina, I need some help.. come over?"

"Yeah sure i'll be right over... Do you have food at your house?" She asked sounding a bit hungry. "Yes, now get over here"

"I'm here! Melanie i swear to god if you are still crying over Brandon i may just throw things at you." Sarina says looking though the refridgerator.

"No, Brandon is stupid and im over him, Now come upstairs I need your advice!" I yell downstairs.

Sarina comes upstairs and throws a carrot at my face. "This is all you have to eat. Healthy food. You're kidding me."

"Shut up about the food for one second and just help me."

"Fine fine no need to get fistey!" She says poking my face.

She I read to message to Sarina and her jaw drops. "DUDE! you havent gotten fan mail in like forever! congrats! So his name is IM name is TheBreakeven.. So he likes the Script.. Old people dont like good music.. MESSAGE HIM BACK!" she demands. 

ForeverYoung: Hey thanks so much.. That was really sweet of you! Nice to meet you Liam.. And yes we should totally talk more!!!

"There are you happy?" I say glaring at Sarina...

"I feel like such a doofus.. What am i gonna do when he replies to my reply?" I ask nervously.

"Well it's kinda obvois.. You need to reply.. You dont want to seem like some bitch who is to good for him.." Sarina exclaims.

"Well i guess you're right.. And like what's the worse thing that could happen?"I say with a smile.

"Well he could be a stalker tracking your every move.. spying through your computer camara at you and watching you sleep!" Sarina says throwing another carrot at my face.

"Oh lord."

Liam's POV

ForeverYoung: Hey thanks so much.. That was really sweet of you! Nice to meet you Liam.. And yes we should totally talk more!!!

Oh my god she replied. I feel like such a teenage girl. I dont know what it is about this girl but she has something about her.

"Hey Liam guess what!!! It's really big news!" Niall exclaims.

"What is it lad?" I ask trying to minimise to IM

"Remeber that really pretty girl, Melanie, from YouTube..? Well the boys and I talked to managment and they said that if we get her to agree to some stuff then she can sing with us on tour.. open for us!!"

My eyes widen and my jaw drops "You're kidding me!!!" I say kind of sounding like a little girl..

 "This is fantastic!!! We gotta find her!" I say with a huge grin!
