The boy with the bristled hair and light eyes grabbed a hold of my waist, without permission. His sudden touch made butterflies erupt from my stomach. Isla, no you are not having a crush on the guy that broke your phone and ended your snapchat streaks. His touch was electric and made little eruptions occur in my chest. I had to act annoyed. I had to be salty.
"Wow, thanks for the warning." I rolled my eyes and scoffed, playing my role well.
"No problem." He answered in a monotone, eyeing the fall from the window. He took the hint and let go of my waist and I could tell he was somewhat embarrassed but brushed it off with a glare.
He bit his lip which was adorable, I mean, annoying so totally annoying I wanted to stab him with a toothpick. Then make out afterward. NO NOT ALLOWED.THIS WAS A WEIRD KIDNAPPING SUPER CUTE-

"We can jump if your powers will kick in and help with the fall." His voice broke the silence of the quiet room, that even the thunder had stopped to hear what he had to say. I realized in the moment he spoke, that I was having an intense facial expression war between myself and grotesquely contorting my face and even making my legendary quadruple chin. He narrowed his eyes suspiciously as I melted the double chin away and smiled, then realized what he said.
"Powers?" I looked quizzically at his annoyed and super cute face.
"Yes, powers. Are you an idiot or something?" He asked, frustration oozing off his voice.
"Yes, actually I am."
"Whatever, yes powers." He grabbed my waist once again and we plummeted down as I felt that holding in a shrill scream would annoy him less.
