Ch. 14

   I tapped my fingers on the counter, staring outside the window. It was almost time for me to go home, only thirty more minutes. I let a sigh escape my lips as my eyes locked with the desk chair behind one of the desks. I walked over to it sitting on the black leather chair. I shut my eyes and relaxed. "God I could sleep here.." I moaned, looking up at the ceiling. I got the sudden idea to roll around in the chair. No one else was here so why the hell not right? I got up and rolled up the sleeves to my black button up shirt. It was pretty tight, clearly showing off my muscles. Once I got the chair in the hallway I had a head start running and jumped into the chair.

   "WEEEEEE!!!!!!" I grinned almost flying off the chair when it hit the rug. I couldn't keep myself from laughing. I heard someone clear their throat behind me. Oh shit. I looked over my shoulder and saw Fluffy standing there an amused look on his face. I could feel my ears get red, I got up and slowly pushed the chair back, walking behind the counter. I hung my head in shame. "Act like you saw nothing." A burst of laughter came from him. My eyebrow rose a small smile forming. "Sorry but that was amazing I'm never letting that go." He walked up to the counter, stripping himself of my jacket.

   "Oh?" Fluffy handed it to me. "Here, just take it back." I grabbed the jacket. "Oh, um you could've kept it I wouldn't have cared.."

"No I didn't want it." He started to mumble. "Even though it smelled like you.."

I smirked. "Oh you like how I smell?"

"What? N-no.."

"Even if you don't thanks, it smells like you now.."

   I could see a pink blush form on his cheeks. Fluffy piped up after a minute or two of silence. "So.. Do.. Do you remember when.. You offered me a date..?" I let out a chuckle, putting my hoodie on the counter since we were the only two in the bank anyway. I suppose he took that as a yes. "Well... If the offer is still here... " He ended up trailing off. So I spoke this time. "Fluffy, I would be honored to take you on a date.." The corner of my lips curled up into a smile. I could see his eyebrows raise in surprise and his perfect lips forming a beautiful smile.

   "Well, when should we do it?" He asked resting his elbows on the counter. "How about.. This Saturday?" A small pout came onto his lips. "I have to work.."

"Skip work!"

"Wait- What?"

"Skip work and have your date with me. It'll be so much better.."

"Well.. Um.. Okay.. Yea, sure!"

   I smile and look at the time, it was time for me to lock up. "Yea well.. It's time for me to go so unless you want to come to my place.." I smirked watching his cheeks flare red. "H-hey! That was a one time thing!!" I laughed and shook my head. "We'll see about that. Well, get going, I have to go too." Fluffy nodded and looked down at his feet. "Um.. Are you okay?" I asked leaning closer. One second I felt a soft pair of lips press against my cheek, then the next he was gone. Everything happened so fast I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I wanted to. But.. It was still enough for me. I know it was hardly any contact but my heart wouldn't stop pounding. I smiled and shook my head. "Ah.. There's something about that boy."

I just did that.

   I couldn't help but have the widest smile on my lips as I entered Dark's car. I put on my seatbelt but I felt someone looking at me. I slowly looked over at Dark raising an eyebrow. "...Yes?"

"Why did you take so long? Just to return a jacket? Something had to have happened in there."

"Just start the car.. I'll tell you on the way home.."

   Dark started up the car and drove out of the parking lot and onto the street. "Soo.. Get talking." I nodded, I could feel my lips twist into a smile. Why is he making me so happy? "Okay, do you remember when he offered to take me on a date like a week or so ago?" I saw Dark nod out of the corner of my eye. "So, I brought that up and now we're going on a date on Saturday.."

"Wait wait wait wait. Didn't you have to work on Saturday?"

"Heh.. Yea.."

"I mean, are you going to get paid for the date? Cause if you are then it is still your job."

"No I'm not going to be paid. At least I don't want him to."

"Really? Why?"

"I don't want the date to feel.. Fake.. You know?"

"Like, you don't want it to feel fake cause of the money at the end would make you feel like a rental girlfriend or something?"

"Yes exactly."

"How are you going to tell Teddy that you aren't going? Will he even agree?"

"No idea. I'm just not going to go, there should be me other guy there to replace me anyway."

   Dark smiled and looked over at me when we stopped at a red light. "I'm happy for you, Fluffy. You must really like him." I blushed and looked away, staring out the window. "I do not and never will like Geist Ackerman.." Dark let out a snicker, soon it turned into a laugh. "That's not what y-you thought last night!!" I laughed and smacked his shoulder. "You ass hat." Dark smiled and drove me the rest of the way back to my house.

   "Where are you gonna head to?" I asked looking at Dark, a nervous smile on his lips. "Um well, I'm gonna go have a talk with Ryan about yesterday.." My eyebrows raised in surprise. "Oh, well you're going to have to tell me what happened.. Ah, one more thing." Dark tilted his head to the left slightly. "Yea okay, shoot."

"How did you guys even end up having sex?"

   A dark red blush slowly started to form on his ears and neck. "Uhh.. Well we got a little drunk and.. I offered to take him home... But since the driver wasn't here we just took an uber, and I couldn't help but stare at his thighs the entire way there. I really didn't mean to, he's just so.. Perfect.. Yea he has his flaws but I know I can help him.. Sorry I'm rambling, anyway, I grabbed his face and kissed him. It got really heated.. So we went into his house and.. You know.. The rest is history." I smiled and rubbed his shoulder for comfort. "Hey, everything will be okay." I gave him a small smile.

   "If I had to be honest, I think he likes you too. I don't know for sure but I only hope for the best with you two." Dark smiled and rubbed my head. "Well, I have to go figure that out right now." I nodded and unbuckled my seat belt. "Well, I'll see you later. Love you." I said before getting out of the car and shutting the door behind me. Waving as Dark drove away. I went into my house and up into my room. I sat on my bed and started at the wall. My head swarming with thoughts.
