Meeting Harry

A few days after we got our letter mother and father took us to Diagon Alley so we were already ready for Hogwarts. I and Draco were allowed to get a pet each and so I chose a beautiful snowy owl. I love winter and anything to do with it so I named her Snowflake. I thought it suited her.

Months passed and now here I am. Standing in front of the Hogwarts Express. Draco had walked off somewhere probably to find Crabbe and Goyle. He wanted me to go with him but I declined as fast as I could because I really can't stand them. I can't stand any of his friends especially Pansy who practically drools all over Draco and doesn't let any girl go near him.

I started heading towards the train to find a compartment before they were all taken. I had nearly made it when someone called out my name and turned to see Draco waving me over not noticing I hadn't stopped walking....

*CRASH* ( Didn't know what else to put )

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!! I wasn't watching where I going. " I stammered extremely embarrassed and knew for sure my face was probably about as red as a tomato.

Kaylee looks up to see a boy with messy black hair.

Hmmm, he looks familiar.....

*Flashback*

Draco and I were going were headed towards Madam Malkin's shop so we could get our uniform. When we walked in we saw a smiling witch dressed all in mauve. She must be Madam Malkin. She sent a friendly smile our way which I happily returned.

"Hogwarts dears?" she asked. I nodded.

She lead us more to the back of the shop and started getting our robes sorted.

"You excited Draco?" I asked

"Eh, yeah I guess" he answered.

I looked at him, he doesn't look excited but I know for a fact he is. He must be, its Hogwarts after all. I was about to reply when I saw a boy about mine and Draco's age with messy black hair walk into the shop and head towards us.

He stood on a footstool next to Draco.

"Hello", said Draco," Hogwarts too?"

"Yes," said the boy.

"Our father's next door buying our books and mother's up the street looking at wands. Then I'm going to drag them off to look at racing brooms, not to buy one since we already got brooms for our birthday," I rolled my eyes, Draco likes to brag too much," Have you got your own broom?" Draco asked the boy.

"No.."

"Play Quidditch at all?". Will Draco ever stop talking!

"No," They boy said. He sounded confused. He did know what Quidditch was right?

I then zoned out as Draco started talking about Houses. I'm gonna be in Slytherin obviously. My whole family has been. If I'm not I'm sure I'll be in a whole lot of trouble. Plus Father would be furious, I do not want to make him mad.

I was lost in my thoughts till I heard Draco say "Look at that man!" I followed his gaze to then see a very tall, big man standing in the window holding to ice-creams.

"That's Hagrid", said the boy," He works at Hogwarts"

"Oh, I've heard of him. He's sort of a servant, isn't he?" Rude Draco!

"He's the gamekeeper" The boy did not sound to happy with Draco and I don't blame him.

"Yes, exactly. I heard he's a sort of savage - lives in a hut in the school grounds and every now and then he gets drunk, tries to do magic and ends up setting fire to his bed." That's it!

"Stop being so rude Draco!" I hissed, he just looked at me and sneered.

"I think he's brilliant," the boy said coldly.

I zoned out after that. I didn't want to hear any more of Dracos rudeness. Instead, I started thinking of Hogwarts and that lifted my spirits. I almost forgot about the boy and Draco, till I heard Draco ask "What's your Surname, anyway?" I then immediately paid attention as I was curious as to who he is. Just as he was about to answer Madam Malkin told him he was finished and he walked out. "Well I'll see you at Hogwarts, I suppose" Draco called after him.

*End of Flashback*

"It's fine, don't worry about it," says the boy as he goes out his hand to help me up. I take it.

"I remember you from Diagon Alley!" I say.

He looked at me for a few seconds and then remembered.

"Oh yeah, we were both getting our robes at the same time"

"Yup, I'm sorry about my brother by the way. He can be very rude"

He nodded," I noticed".

I just laughed, "I'm Kaylee by the way, Kaylee Malfoy" I held my hand out.

"I'm Harry, Harry Potter," he says as he shakes my hand.

Wait, the Harry Potter!! I tried to hide the shocked look on my face but I don't think it's working.

Wait till Draco hears about this!

"Thanks for not getting mad at me for crashing into you but I have to get going. I got to go find my brother, but it was nice meeting you Harry" I waved at him as I walked away.

"Nice to meet you as well Kaylee" he called out to me.

I was walking through the train looking in all compartments when I finally came across Draco and his friends.

"Finally, where have you been Kay?" Draco asks.

"Just being my clumsy self and crashed into someone" Pansy snorted while trying to keep a laugh. I glared at her.

"It was Harry Potter," I say casually.

"Harry Potter?", Draco questions," I'm gonna go find him, come on Crabbe, Goyle!"

They leave the compartment and leave me with Pansy. Ugh anyone but her! Pansy opened her mouth to speak

"Don't waste your breath Pug face!, Wait till Draco's back and talk to him".

That shut her up. Finally some peace and quiet...

*Heyy so  I think I know who I'm making as her crush/love interest or whatever ya call it. Not gonna say who, but I have some ideas ;) Also probably not gonna be exactly like the Harry Potter movies and books but yeah.
