Chapter 23 " I ..."

*Still Alex's POV*
I walked towards the large church doors to the front to take my place.
As I walked down the isle , I saw my family smiling and waving at me . I gave them all a smile in return  but inside I was beyond nervous.

What if she gets cold feet ?

What if she doesn't want to go through with it anymore?

Man , I was a mental mess. I stood there for another 20 minutes until the doors opened revealing my groomsmen and her bridesmaids. After the last two walked in they closed the large doors again.

Reality finally sunk in , behind those doors stood the love of my life.

They started  playing the bridal chorus as I took a deep breath while everyone stood up.

They opened the large doors revealing the most beautiful bride I have ever seen.

I wasn't a very emotional person nor did I hardly ever show them , but seeing Tiffany look so breathtaking and knowing she would be mine forever made a tear escape from my eye.

*Tiffany's POV*
(A few minutes earlier)

I sat in the room for another 20 minutes until my dad came in indicating it was time.

First all my bridesmaids left the room , followed by my mom and Jenny leaving just me and my dad waiting for our turn .

"You know , I'm so proud of you sweetheart . You've grown into such a lovely and beautiful young lady. I know this wasn't your ideal way of getting married you know , you wanting a fairytale love story and all but I'm really proud of how mature you've gotten and I love you very much"
Dad said giving me a kiss on my forehead.

"Thanks dad , I know yeah I would've wanted a fairytale love story and to choose my husband . But I trust your judgement and eventhough things started out a little rough I've grown to  really love Alex so thanks to you I will be marrying someone I love in a few minutes and I know I'll have my fairytale love story , just after I've said I do"

I said giving a small chuckle making my dad do the same.
"Well , I think we should get going"
Dad said getting up.

As we approached  the large doors my heart was beating so fast and suddenly I was very nervous.

What if I fall over my dress and trip infront of everyone ?

Or forget my vows ?

As if reading my mind dad whisperd into my ear "You'll be fine honey, relax I've got you." I gave him one last hug before hearing the music start and the doors opening .

Dad gave me one last kiss before pulling my vail down. As we walked down the isle everyone's eyes were on me which made me even more nervous than I already was. But once I saw Alex at the front a smile spread across my face and it was like a wave of calmness washed over me  , suddenly I wasn't nervous anymore.

We came to the front and my dad gave me over to Alex before taking his seat. The preacher started talking until it was time for our vows, Alex went first .

"Tiffany , that day I first met you in that coffee shop was truely the best day of my life . I was so shy and couldn't believe that , I was to marry such a beautiful woman , instantly I felt protective over you and loved you with all my heart since that moment I first layed eyes on you . I love you so much and can't wait to begin our life together . I promise I will always love you with all of my heart and cherish you and I would absolutely do anything just to see you smile. "

A tear escaped upon hearing that but it was my turn so I took a deep breath before beginning .

"Alex , I never thought I would fall inlove with someone I only knew for a short time , but I did and it's the best thing that's ever happend to me . You make me laugh when I'm sad and crack jokes when I'm mad . You're always there when I need you and I want to do the same. When I was younger I always imagined having a fairytale love story when I got older, but now standing here infront of you I now know that you don't need a fairytale lovestory as long as you have your prince Charming. I love you so much Alex and I promise to always love you and be by your side. I can't wait to see what the future holds aslong as it's with you."
