Chapter 2: Minnesota

Like I said the furneral was just a big pitty party. I was crying, everyone was acting like they care. No one really did. They were all thinking oh, poor little girl lost her parent. Where is she going to live? Watch she's going to turn into a hugh touble maker.

Im just glad its over. It's been 4 days since my family has died. I've cried myself to sleep every night. Other than at the furneral I haven't cried a lot in public. Im still kind of shocked, but now im also angry. How can everyone just sqit there and act like they care. Shouldn't they actually care? Of course not, why would they? People just don't actually care if it has nothing to do with them.

Currently im siting next to Mrs. Miller on the plane. She's really nice. I actually think she cares. Her and my mom were best friends in high school. When they graduated my mom met my dad and they moved to New Mexico. They stayed in touch. Now that I remember once or twice a year my mom said somethng about Kelly coming to visit. I never met her. She says that she knew me when I was a baby.

"Skylar?" Mrs. Miller asked.

"Mmm?" I answered looking up from the book I was currently reading.

"Tell me about yourself. We haven't really gotten to know each other."

"Well... My best friend is Ann, you met her at the furneral. she and I have been friends since 1st grade. I had another best friend Carson, athough he was more like an older brother. I played Volleyball on our school team. I like anything thats sparkly." She laughs at my last statement. I smile a little. " What about you, Mrs. Miller?"

"Please call me Kelly. Im not that old am I. My husbands name is Jack. We have 5 sons."

"W-what!?" I gasped, shocked.

"Yeah, there hectic." She then goes on to describe her kids to me.

"There's Drew. The same age as you. He loves Girls. Sometimes I really just want to slap him. He is always getting into touble. He's the youngest out of the teenagers."

"Then there's Dylan. He's about to turn 17 this month. Same grade as Drew. He's the nice one. Don't tell them I said that though."

"Next there's Nate He's 16. He loves art."

"Then the youngests. The Twins. Wade and Wyatt. Their 10. Their like two peas in a pod. Their always together. They love to play tricks on the older boys. Which is there problem because the older boys are always getting revenge."

"Here I have a picture of them." She then digs into her purse for her wallet. she finds her wallet and pulls out a picter with 5 boys on it. Holy Crap! The 3 older boys look like Hollister models. One has Dark brown hair and blue eyes that make me want to melt. Then theres one that has blue eyes the color of the sky with sandy blonde hair. Then the last one has light brown hair and dark brown eyes. Then there the twins they look exactly the same except one wears glasses.

"Wade's the one with the glasses. Thank god too, I don't think I would be able to tell them apart."

"Me either."

After that we stoped talking and I put my ear buds in and press play. Who Owns My Heart by Miley Cyrus came on. We had a peaceful plane ride after that.

------------------------------------------------------

When we get to Minnesota we get our bags and go outside.

A man comes up to us and wraps Mrs. Miller up in a hug. "Hello honey."

"HI, Jack." She giggled. Wait, she giggled. Weird. A 38 years old women giggling...

The man, Jack, walked toward me and stuck out his hand. "And you must be Skylar Evans."

"That's me. And you must be Mr. Miller." I said, shaking his hand, repeating the words he said.

"That's me. But please call me Jack." He laughed coping me.

I laughed with him. Then we walked to the car she was loading all of our stuff into. It was a yellow jeep. I jumped into the back seat of the jeep. They got into the front seat.Jack driving.

"Well I hope you enjoy living with us," Jack said. " And welcome to Minnesota."

"The drive will be about 2 and a half hours away." Kelly informed me.

Mhm, Great. A long drive. Where do they live in the middle of no where? On the drive I got to see how beautiful Minnesota was. It had really green grass, lots of lakes, and everything was just really pretty.

The last thing I remember before falling asleep is Kelly asking Jack if the boys know that I was coming to live with them, and Jack saying no he hasn't told them. Great I thought before slipping into peaceful sleep.
