The past two weeks had flown by faster than I imagined. I walked to my locker where I saw Ella and Xander talk.

Ella looked annoyed at what Xander was saying. Her eyes brightened up when she saw me approaching. I gave a smile and a waved that she quickly returned. Xander's head snapped back to see how she was waving too and his eyes that were hard, softened when he looked at me.

I gave a small smile to him that he didn't return, instead, he turned back to his twin and said a few short words before walking off.

"What's up his ass?" I switched out my books.

Ella sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes, "He thinks that I might end up hooking up with one of his friends over the weekend. He doesn't understand that I'm the same age as him."

I gave her a small smile. I had always wanted a sibling but do to my mother walking out on us I never got the chance to have one. "He cares about you, I mean if I had an overbearing big brother I'd feel the same way."

"I guess so." She mumbled as we walked to my car.

"I have to stop at my house to grab some things. Do you want to come?" I wasn't sure if she would mind.

Her face lit up. She nodded her head yes as we got in the car. I let her play DJ again. Laughing when she sang out loud.

After a quick stop at my house and the ice cream shop, we finally made it to her house. I parked my car in the driveway.

I popped open my trunk and grabbed my things. Ella grabbed my small backpack full of makeup and I snatched up my duffle bag. We each held bags from Frozen Delicacy with our ice creams.

We busted into laughter thinking about how Ella went about picking the flavors at the store.

"The guy looked at you like you needed help. What kind of flavor is dark brown, like poo brown?" I laughed.

"Hey, I forgot that it was chocolate my brain didn't register it until we left the store." She pouted making me laugh harder.

My daughter was caught off Byrne beauty of the house. The large space had a nice color scheme, the different contrast in the many shades of grey and off-white. The spacious open area was beautifully lit by the large crystal chandelier. My eyes floated to the two large staircases, they connected at the top and had two hallways leading to the east and west wings.

"Holy shit," I whispered.

Ella laughed beside me. She started walking towards the east wing.

"You can put your things down in my room. When you're done I'll give you the grand tour."

"I have to make sure to keep my phone on me because I'm a hundred percent sure I'm going to get lost."

After walking past about 10 difficult rooms she finally pushed open two large doors.

My mouth dropped at the sight of her room. She had a large king sized bed covered by a nice lavender duvet. I dropped my bag in the corner of her bed.

I walked into her ensuite bathroom noticing she had a nice cream vanity and large bathtub with jets. I gasped at the marble shower.

I was in love with her bathroom alone.

Her closet was double the size of my room.

"He really is stupid rich," I said sitting in the nook of the bay window. The window lets in great lighting and gave a beautiful view of the backyard.

I saw the workers going about their days, walking and laughing.

"Let's go put this ice cream in the freezer before it melts."
