Chapter 1- A new start.

Every end is a new beginnig ~Unknown.

I woke up at seven, seeming as the annoying alarm clock would not shut up. I had approximately two hours to get ready for my new school which started at nine.

I hurried out of bed and yawned as I made my way down the hall to the bathroom. I stripped off my clothing and jumped into the shower.

I scrubbed my teeth white and ran a brush through my now dry curls which reached down my waist. I jumped into the clothes which I had picked out last night and left the bathroom, ditching the idea of makeup.

I had an hour left to spare, so I shook my sister awake. "Juicy, juicy wake up!!" I called her by her childhood nickname. She ninja jumped out of her bed but not before she gave me a glare and pinched my belly. I shrieked in pain whilst my sister gave me a smug look as though she had just achieved something honourable.

I leaped down the stairs and headed towards the kitchen. I poured myself a bowl of coco-pops and greedily gobbled it all up. How I loved these chocolaty goodness.

After breakfast I went upstairs to check on my Syrian hamster, Toby. I fed him and changed his water. I then went back downstairs to change Cookie's (my cat) litter tray and pour her food and fresh milk. I then tiredly walked out into the garden and fed Alfie (my great husky) and gave him cool water.

I was indulged in playing 'fetch' with Alfie when I heard my sister's girly voice yell my name.

"What'" I answered without giving her a second glance.

"It’s Eight Fifty Nine, Dani. School starts at nine remember?" She stated with a sigh as she folded her arms across her chest.

"Oh yeah" I lamely stated as I sheepishly scratched the back of my neck.

We had to take the bus although the school was only a 30 minute walk away. After five bus stops the bus came to an ungraceful stop, nearly flipping me out of my seat.

To say the school was big would've been an understatement. The school was called Stockwell Park High School and its campus saw no bounds. We were surrounded by streams of teenagers in purple blazers.  Justine and I were the only ones in non-uniform. She was dressed in a blue mid-thigh dress with heels and a violet cardigan whilst I was in a loose jersey top with grey fading jeans and Converses.

We made our way to the office and were greeted by an old chubby man.

"Hello lovelies, how may I help you" he offered us a smile.

"We're new here and we wondering if you could give us our timetables" Justine returned his smile.

“Give me your names, girls" He ordered.

"Danielle and Justine Parker" he was seriously starting to annoy me.

His face wrinkled in concentration as he roamed through his computer. He finally presented us with two timetables before he gestured for us to leave. He scolded us for our clothing and warned us to wear uniform tomorrow. Like that’ll happen!  It’s one of the advantages of being new.

We both had to turn our separate ways as I scurried off to English whilst Justine made her way to Maths.

The classroom was a funky purple and bright green and looked very exciting. The teacher was a young man who looked to be in his twenties. As soon as I stepped into the room approximately thirty pairs of eyes stared intensely at me as they inspected every feature of mine until the teacher finally addressed me.
