Chapter Twenty one

Sora's POV

I looked to see Michael handing me a sandwich in a brown paper. I eyed him.

"What will you eat?"I questioned.

"I'll survive"he assured me.

There was a mango tree above our heads but we couldn't trust it in a time like this.

I broke piece leaving half in the bag.

"Zelta.....you hungry? "I tried again.

No response.

"She'll wake up"he tried to make me feel better.

"I am hoping that too but she looks dead"I admitted glancing at her stiff body.

He threw one arm around me comforting me.

"Get some sleep"he spoke and I looked at him like he was a snakecat.

"What?"I asked.

"You heard me get some sleep,I'll be up anyways"he state stroking Zelta's face.

I didn't bother arguing I just closed my eyes. I had difficulties sleeping so I opened my eyes to see Michael moving Zelta's fingers.I felt sorry for him.

I watched him as he continued to play with her fingers.

"I know you can hear me....I love you"he spoke getting no response from her.

Some how I fell in a deep sleep due to my tiredness.

My eyes flew opened as someone shook me violently. I flashed them off sitting up to look at Michael.

"Are you trying to kill me!"I hissed.

"They are coming! "He explained getting up.

He pulled up Zelta in his arms.

"What!Who?"I was blank.

When he ran off with a speed I registered his words.They are coming. I raced off tagging behind him as he ran.I looked behind my back to see Sheili and Alzyana zooming in on us.

Michael tripped over a rock and Zelta fell from his arms rolling down the hill.I haulted running to the tip of the hill.I flinched at each connection Zelta's body parts made with the rocks.

"We can't let the-"I was taken aback when Michael rose not even dusting off himself.

He ran to the edge where I was jumping down. He sid on his shoes as his head connected with the hill once or twice.

He crashed on the flat surface of the hill where Zelta laid.He dragged her into his arms not caring about his scars and bruises. Alzyana and Sheili was near.

He grabbed Zelta standing but he fell as the two girls stood over him.I had to do something and fast. I looked around trying to find a solution. My eyes then landed on a pile of wood.I smiled.

I grabbed three pieces throwing one in Sheili's direction.

"And she scored! "I celebrated as she fell hi-fiveing nothing.

Alzyana looked up seeing me.She then looked to Michael.

"I'll never forgive you for what you did....you let them have me!"She stated manliness dropping from her voice.

"You were dead Alzyana....fucking dead!"he hissed.

She raised her feet which was sharp towards Michael and he didn't look scared. I threw one of the log of wood at her.She turned her head in time grabbing the wood.

She looked right at me with full red eyes.She sailed it back towards me with the a powerful force and I only stared in shock.
