Introduction

"Then give us answers!" Wait, before we even start this story let's go to the beginning. My name is Zoey Langston and I'm a normal. A normal is literally a person who is normal. My best friend is a normal too, but there's one unusual thing about us. We like the special, the special is a whole bunch of people with super powers or abilities. We've always dreamed of seeing a special in real life, but they're about to go extinct. The government is wiping them out because they're afraid of them, but there's still groups of the special standing up to the government. Anyways, this all changed when I got powers. I wasn't supposed to get powers, yet I did. I don't know how to explain it, but it all started on Wednesday. Once again, I was skipping school and doing stuff that could get me arrested. I usually got back to school by lunch and my principal never caught me, until that day.
"Hey! What are you doing out here?" Mr. Johnson yelled. As soon as I saw him I ran. "Come back here!" I knew I was going to get away until I ran into this guy.
"Watch where you're going." I said in a rude manner.
"Come back!" I turned around, but when I turned back the guy I ran into was gone.
"What are you doing out of school Ms. Langston?" Mr. Johnson asked while grabbing my arm and dragging me into school. "I don't know how you do it. You skip school, yet you keep your grades up," we were in his office,"You're the top in your class, why would you do this?"
"Because it's a free country." I said sarcastically.
"Not anymore, everything's different you know that. Now get to class before I suspend you."
"Yes, Mr. Johnson." I finally got to lunch and sat by my best friend Victoria.
"Ten minutes late, certainly not your best, but whatever." I don't know why, but I kept thinking of that guy I ran into.

I have thought about publishing this for a while, but I still wasn't sure. But after a couple weeks or so I finally decided to publish it and I feel great that I did. I've actually been want to do another story or fan fiction. Anyways this is what I came up with and hope you enjoy.
