Chapter 5

"So, this is it." I said.
"What is?" Ryan responded.
"My first fight."
"You'll do fine."
Ryan jumped down to the ground. It was pretty crazy because we were high up. When he landed everyone was alert, he lifted his arms then these huge vines came out of the ground. He started to move them like they were his arms. He started hitting people and cop cars with the vines.
"You go Ryan." I said with a smile. Which was quickly interrupted by a guy who started shooting at me. He shot one of the chains that was holding the platform up. The platform shifted and then I fell off.
"RYANNNN!!!" I screamed.
"Zoey?"
I stopped screaming and realized I've been in the air for a while. I was floating in the air. "I can fly?" I said confused.
"You can fly too!" Ryan said.
"I guess so!"
I flew across the air in amazement. The people were trying to shoot me, but they couldn't. I started using my telekinesis to take the cops batons and started hitting people with them. Then someone hit me in the shoulder while I was flying. I hit the ground hard.
"Zoey!" Ryan said with concern. I was on the floor. I felt the pain of the bullet, I got up then looked at where the bullet hit me. There was nothing there, no blood, no wound. Nothing.
"What the heck?" I said.
"That's awesome." Ryan said when I looked at him. Everyone stopped fighting. They all saw me get shot and they all saw me get up without a scratch on me. They knew they couldn't hurt me or Ryan.
"Fallback soldiers!" They all retreated and left. When they were all gone Ryan came to me and helped me up.
"How is this possible? Do you know anyone else with this ability?" I asked looking at the spot where there should've been a wound.
"No, unfortunately. You have more abilities then any other person I've known. At least we discovered you have two more abilities" Ryan said.
"Can I come out now?" Victoria said.
"Oh, Victoria, you're safe." We both came running to each other then hugged. When our hug broke she turned to Ryan and was trying to decide whether she should hug him or not.
"I'm glad you're ok too." Victoria said instead of hugging him.
"Thanks." Ryan said while he smirked at Victoria.
"Guys, I've been thinking," I said while looking down,"I think I wanna erase my parents mind."
"Woah, what? Are you crazy?" Victoria said.
"Why?" Ryan responded.
"It's too dangerous for them. Even though they don't know I have abilities they're still connected to me. I was thinking of erasing your parents minds too, Victoria."
"Even though it's crazy, I agree." Victoria said.
"Then let's do this." I responded. Me and Victoria left while Ryan stayed. I flew and grabbed Victoria. We went to Victoria's house first. She told her family she loved them and when she said goodbye, I did what I had to do. When I said goodbye to my parents, I started to cry. They were confused at first, but then I did it. I took any memory they had of me.
