She skipped to school that day.
Today was going to be the day.
She was going to tell him.
As she walked down the hall way,
She noticed.
And she screamed.
She didn't scream out loud,
It was in her head.
But what she saw was very much real.
In her mind she screamed because as she fell,
She had finally hit the ground
And the realisation hurt too much.
In real, there the girl was.
The girl who had no solid body,
The girl who didn't let herself be caught,
As she drifted away.
The girl who drifted away.
But it was not only the girl,
There stood her materialistic boy,
Holding the girl by her waist and kissing the girl like the girl was his perfection.
The girl's arms were around her boy.
She just ran back, leaving her boy and the girl to themselves.
She went back home before the day started,
And wasted tears on her materialistic boy.
