There was once a girl who compared
She didn't realise it yet,
But she just did.
She compared,
Her imperfect life to others' perfect ones.
Her imperfect clothes to others' perfect ones.
Her imperfect looks to others' perfect ones.
Her imperfect curves to others' perfect ones.
Sometimes, God forbid, she thought
Yet, she compared
Her imperfect friends to others' perfect ones.
She didn't realise it,
Her subconscious nagged her.
Yet it was her consciousness that brought out the beast in her.
She compared, consciously,
Her imperfect parents to others' perfect ones.
