Dan
As the weeks went on, and I got to know Phil more, the more I had a crush on him.
It was November 5th, a Thursday, and tomorrow was bonfire night! I was so excited. Phil and I had decided to ditch the big party and have our own little party at our park.
I've been going to Phil's house after school, then sneaking in thru my window each night.
It's a great system, and I love it.
Time skip to bonfire night
Phil and I walked to the Hollow Tree Park after school, Phil carrying his backpack of snacks and drinks, me with the sparklers.
It was dark in a few hours, and we each lit a sparkler. Phil set up his phone camera in timer mode, and we took pictures.
"Dan, I know we've only been friends for a few weeks, but I'm crushing hard on you." He whispers, grabbing my hand.
"Phil. I do too." I mutter, holding on tight to his hand.
I rest my head on his shoulder. Enjoying the warmth.
"PHILIP MICHEAL LESTER!" Phil's dad called.
"d-d-a-" Phil gets out, before his dad starts screaming at him.
"No! You left the party to hang out with a boy!" I silently left, running to Phil's house. He had given me a key, just in case things got bad.
Phil
"Dad! He's my best friend. He needs me, and Dan started to have a panic attack because of the noise." I cover up, grabbing my backpack to leave.
"No! Phil, bright and early tomorrow morning, you are telling me the real reason." Dad says, and I run off.
I run up the stairs to my bedroom, and see Dan pacing around on my carpeted floor.
"Dan? Are you okay?" I ask, crossing over to sit on my bed.
"Yes. I think. I don't know!" Dan says, his voice becoming shakier with every word.
"Well, my dad says I better tell him the real reason why I snuck off tomorrow." I sigh.
"I'm so sorry. It was all my fault, wasn't it?" Dan says sadly.
"No, no, no Dan, it wasn't anybody's fault." I say, patting the spot next to me.
Dan let out a big sigh, then fell flat into my bed. I realized after a few minutes, he had fallen asleep. So I did too.
But tomorrow, might be the hardest day of my life.
I could lie, and come out when I leave for uni, or get the punishment over with.
I'm back with an update finally! With winter break starting Friday, I can finally update a lot more.
(A four hour car ride after Christmas will give me a chance to update a lot)
