"so you like chanhee?" youngbin asked for the nth time. hwiyoung was about to tear his hair out.

"yes, i fuckin love chani. but i'm afraid to love him! everyone i love will leave me and i can't bear to even think about life without chani." tears of frustration welled up in his eyes as he blinked them away.

"okay..." youngbin sunk back into the sofa, an awkward silence falls after.

"the thing is, chani's underaged for all the things hwiyoung does everyday." the two got startled by a third presence, walking towards them as he speaks.

"awfully true, inseongie. how long were you listening?" youngbin pulled inseong down into his lap, snuggling his head into the crook of his shoulder.

"that doesn't matter." hwiyoung grumbled in pure fustration, his teeth grinding down on a few pills he threw into his mouth.

a sudden thought flashed through his mind literally made him throw the ziplock bag of pills onto the table and bolted up stairs.

"when do you... do this?" hwiyoung's thumb continued to caress the cuts while his other hand made sure to stay away from his other wrist.

"well, it depends, actually. if i feel like i've fucked up something, or if im just sad and cried, i'll cut myself. if i don't stop crying i won't stop cutting."

"you need to stop, you'll pass out one day." hwiyoung locked eyes with chani.

he smiled weakly.

"you're a little too late on that, hyung. it happened before and it'll happen again."

"how would you know?" hwiyoung raised an eyebrow, leaning closer til their noses almost touched.

"i know a lot of things that i can't control."

"shit." hwiyoung mumbled as he stopped infront of chani's door, to hear muffled crying still.

"hwiyoung, what's wrong?" inseong asked, gasping for air.
