Chapter six september 4th 

" You can do that" damians eyebrows rose up practically to his hairline, if emily wasn't as shocked she probably would be laughing till her sides split.

" I can but it's- it's hard to explain, i only have a set amount of time until it doesn't work the same way"

" how long " asked emily, she began to think back to the little girl on the first day of classes , she never saw her face but the girls sister had told her about how empty she looked.

" I'm not even sure, the first and last time i did it i was nine and i did it immediately after" Emily nodded but then she thought you could have saved that girl than that night.

" we can go tomorrow, during breakfast is our best chance it's the only time when all three of us can be together without it being to suspicious" damian said standing up " I need to leave before they do room checks" he turned and pointed at catrina " If you feel anything text me, ghost will give you my number " with that he walked out the room. Emily sat still she couldn't shake the thought of the way that nicole and emilia described the dead girl.

Catrina stood up and said something about going to shower since she was super shaken up. Emily thinks she nodded she wasn't sure, pulling out her phone she texted the last person she wanted to talk to all school year.

" i need help "

" with ?"

" find more out about catrina "

" are you serious emily" She rolled her eyes, she didn't want to talk to him more than needed and was sure that he was trying to just make more conversation. "Just do it lucas"

She just sent him another quick reply before placing her phone on the dresser and staring at catrinas phone on the other nightstand.

She hated herself for going back on her original impression of the girl but emily was in shock, her roommate could bring people back to life but didn't do it when someone who was practically a child was killed by her own hands.

" ALL STUDENTS PLEASE REPORT TO THE AUDITORIUM, PLEASE REPORT TO THE AUDITORIUM" The robotic voice brought emily back to brain and out of the trance she had been in since finding out marissa was the one missing, she wasn't sure how she felt now or even when she found out that the girl who broke her into a million pieces was the one who was now gone. She stood in her thoughts until she saw catrina step out, staring at catrina she knew that she was going to have to talk to her friend and ask her why she didn't save the girl.

" let's head off" she said " we need to fill the others in on the plan so that they can help us" Catrina nodded and emily gave a tight lipped smile, she was sure the other girl could feel the weird tension that began since damian and catrina walked into the dorm room earlier.

Walking into the auditorium and seeing emilia, emily thought back to how the last time the whole school had been sitting in this room, it was supposed to be a unifying moment for the school but then a girl died. Sitting down next to emily she tried to figure out what happened that day.

" Did you know the power to heal others is a level 3 power, it's uncommon but not impossible" she was met with silence catrinia didn't even turn to face her. Emily cleared her throat she wanted to talk about this and go back to being happy go lucky and buddy buddy with the pink haired girl beside her.
