Grim + Ghost

chapter 4

A/N : I feel very uninspired, but i decided to actually finish this book and write out the last few chapters. 

Chapter four

Emily watched as the poof of pink hair disappeared down the hall, in the wrong direction from the dorm she was going to call out to catrina but nicole shook her head and said that cat needed time to herself, standing up and nodding emily turned to her best friend

" Do you think that she did it, kill that girl i mean" Emily's voice sounded small she felt protective of the pink haired girl but what her brother said it got to her, all he had to say was some stupid joke about the grim reaper was amidst them and she could help but question her decision making could she be friends with a killer, should she be friends with a killer.She had been so sure her roommate didn't hurt that girl but she couldn't deny that the girl died as catrina was using her powers and the empaths around the room feeling sick, asking nicole was her only way of being sure whether what had happened had been by the hands of catrina.

Nicole sighed and sat next to her friend, emily knew nicole was either reading her mind or feeling her doubt she tried to block it " She did don't get mad at me, i just wanted to protect you but " she took her friends hand "i've been reading her mind all morning " she did it and she's scared" emily nodded felt better knowing the truth " Don't be mad at her, she didn't mean to hurt that girl, just like i don't mean to read minds or feel emotions that aren't mine, i know it might not be the same but-"

"we're all scared kids i know" emily interrupted, she stood and pulled nicole up with her. "Let's go shopping for her, i mean i can tell she wants to be alone and you've picked up on her vibes you can totally tell me what she likes and-"

"Em, you know that's not how my powers work"

" Don't make me get on my hands and knees to beg to you okay i just want to make her feel better, please"

Nicole nodded and began walking to the dorm " she would like you left a note she called over her shoulder"

Emily sat and watched her friend run from rack to rack grabbing clothes.She really wasn't sure why she was the one who came up with the idea of shopping for her roommate when her idea of a fashion store was the Nike store. Since she was bored she could help but let her mind wonder , she thought about ms.wells and catrina about how she was going to talk to her roommate if she should talk to her roommate about what had happened.

"You know your thoughts move super fast to the point where i wonder if you actual have a chance to realise that you thought of something" Emily gave nicole a blank look " haha , thanks for calling me scatterbrained or stupid i'm not really sure what you just said."

"Okay tell me why you're thinking about ms.wells , i think i know why you're so worried about your roommate."

" And why would that be ? "

" I don't think you're ready to here the reason but i'm pretty sure it's the same reason you haven't thought about luke in the past two days"

Emily felt her cheeks flush but chose to ignore nicoles accusations about her ex-boyfriend

"Ms.wells is missing or I should say sick but we all know that ms.wells would never leave school and it's really had me thinking about all the missing students i mean how odd is it that she just went missing as soon as all these kids seem to go missing i don't want to sound insane and maybe she really just got sick but i just feel "

"Worried" Emily nodded she rubbed her hands on her legs, " I told damian about ms.wells and he's even more worried now and i mean i'm even more scarred that they're right, that all these level three kids are missing"
