Rayan.
The day was half way done. I was in lunch sitting at my usual table with Chresanto. we had 2nd lunch together. We were eating and talking when I Seen Jacob's Sister,Imani. She looked lost like a mouse in a maze trying to find cheese. I got up and walked towards her,
" Hey .....Imani" I yelled to get her attention. " Over here"
"Hi Rayan"She said putting my government name out there to the public." You can sit with me and Roc if you want" I politely offered." Thanks Rayan" she followed me towards the table.
We sat down and Chres greeted her with a small smile then went back to eating his lunch. The entire twenty minutes Imani was at the table its was silence until she decided to get up and leave.
" Where you going" I questioned. " Well, i don't know I guess to roam around to get comfortable with this place" She answered.
" Okay I'll see You Later then" I said. " I'll see you later Rayan" She smiled and left.
I just loved the way she said my government name ; I normally don't let people call me Rayan i just tell them to call me Ray but Imani I don't care Cause she real cool and cute, but she not my type. The bell rung for us to go back to class and 3rd lunch to start so i headed back to music appreciation. I sat there until it was time for 6th period.
Imani.
It was the last period of the day: 6th Period. I was just sitting there waiting fr the bell to ring for dismissal. I watched as the clock ticked and tocked from one minute to the next; it felt like forever. Just sitting in this class made me more and more impatient. That's when I heard that familiar sound of the bell. I got up so fast to head out to the bus lane.
The bus lane was crowded as hell with mad people. Like for real people was just standing there like other people didn't have places to be. I then accidentally bumped into this girl and she started cussing me out walking away, like bitch you mad or nahh. She really thought she was cute with her hot pink eye shadow on it was bright as hell and all they way up to her brow bone like you don't know how to blend that shit. I swear it's my first day at this school and Thots already pissing me off.
I got on the bus and sat next to the girl i sat next to in the morning. I didn't want to seem rude so I thought it would be good to introduce myself." Hey " I said nicely." Hi" she returned in the same kindness." I'm Imani ' I introduced myself." I'm Amber" she said.'" nice to meet you" I said." You too."she said.
The rest of the way home we were silent i was glad to at least make some sort of a friend. When i got back to my Aunt's house i went straight upstairs to get out my uniform and into some comfortable clothes and went down stairs to watch TV.
